She learned from her mistakes and spends most of the book working on her them and the male love interests are drawn to her because of it.

The main character can’t catch a break and is always stressed. I like her sense of humor but the plot of the story was not what I was expecting. The men are pretty sexy but the main characters discomfort stressed me out so much.

The characters were really well written.
The romance made me blush and kicked my feet like a school girl.
But I did not like the mystery part of it, I got confused a couple of times because of all the names. But yet again, I don’t like mysteries in general so I might just be biased.

None of the characters are reliable storytellers. They don’t know their own emotions until they’re about to die or the story is ending. That’s not as interesting as it sounds since it makes the listener guess all the missing pieces and details. Not that much humor in the voices. I didn’t like how the man’s voice didn’t say the male lines when the female voice was talking, and the same with the women’s voice in the guys chapters.

Loved the story, the characters are funny and feel real. The plot was interesting and kept me invested. I haven’t listened or read a book in a while and this one just got my interest peaked on dark romance.
