Historia
In Joy on Demand, Chade-Meng Tan shows that you don't need to meditate for hours, days, months, or years to achieve lasting joy - you can actually get consistent access to it in as little as 15 seconds. Explaining joy and meditation as complementary things that naturally reinforce each other, Meng explains how these two skills form a virtuous cycle and, once put into motion, become a solid practice that can be sustained in daily life.

I never realized everything that was involved with joy, meditation, nor suffering. This was awesome and will help me write my book about awakening our childlike imagination.

Historia
Confronting change is incredibly hard, both organizationally and personally. Yet the pace of change in our world will never be slower than it is right now, says Beth Comstock, the former vice chair and head of marketing and innovation at GE. Imagine It Forward is an inspiring, fresh, candid, and deeply personal audiobook about how to grapple with the challenges to change we face every day. It is a different kind of narrative, a big-picture audiobook that combines Comstock’s personal story in leading change with vital lessons on overcoming the inevitable roadblocks.

Use your imagination

Loved the book and can only imagine how today’s leaders need the same grace and grit Beth expressed during her GE tenure. Grateful for Beth’s courage to share her story. So many marketers are storytellers and will tell their employers’ story well yet feel hesitant to tell their own personal stories. I think we need more marketers to open up and tell their own stories. My sense is that as marketers if we do build the courage to tell our own stories then we will in turn be even more powerful in telling the story of any employer. Thank you again, Beth.
