Andy is the perfect role model

I’m 7 months younger than he is, we’ve been through many similar things in different parts of the world and societies. This book just made me think we’d be best friends if given the chance, but also that anyone that fights this hard to become a better person deserves recognition about it; not only about their journey as a whole, but as a person, and of course as an artist. I hope one day to be able to meet this man and thank him for giving me a credible role model to look up to, someone who fucked up as well as conquered things, someone real.

He’s not reading it as someone mourning or lamenting, he feels the story and goes with it. It’s amazing. I’ve heard it maybe three times by now and haven’t had it for more than a month. Becoming my favorite audiobook hands down.
