Historia
The shapeshifting alien race known as the Skrulls have infiltrated every branch of the Marvel Universe, from S.H.I.E.L.D. to the Avengers, and even the interplanetary defense force S.W.O.R.D. As the New Avengers watch the leader of the Hand, Elektra, transform into a Skrull after her death, they come to realize that an attack is coming, one that has been planned for years. From heroes to villains, anyone could be a Skrull in disguise. Uncertain of who to trust, the team tries desperately to unite against an unseen foe. But it is too late.

In the absolutely packed Act II, the dark fantasy resumes and the Sandman expands into the French Revolution, ancient Rome, 19th-century San Francisco, eighth-century Baghdad, and beyond. New and familiar characters abound, voiced by a bright mix of performers, including Kat Dennings, Regé-Jean Page, Emma Corrin, Michael Sheen, Kristen Schaal, Brian Cox, John Lithgow, Jeffrey Wright, and so many more, including fan-favorite narrators Simon Vance and Ray Porter.

Just as good if not better than the first one. More historical stories. Great voice cast, though you will recognize some from Act I.

Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Greatly enjoyed this book. Didn't go where I thought it would. Plus the narrator who is excellent, sounds alot like J. K. Simmons.

Seems familiar
Revisado: 11-08-20
I really enjoyed this book. It has the great production and music that almost all SW audiobooks have. There are a few duds but overall most of them are good. Reminds me of the old Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina and Tales from Jabba's Palace books.

Historia
Here are the thrills, grandeur, and unabashed fun of the Greek myths, stylishly retold by Stephen Fry. The legendary writer, actor, and comedian breathes life into ancient tales, from Pandora's box to Prometheus's fire, and transforms the adventures of Zeus and the Olympians into emotionally resonant and deeply funny stories, without losing any of their original wonder. Learned notes from the author offer rich cultural context. This volume is a doorway into a captivating world.

Great introduction to Greek Mythology without sounding like someone reading from a text book. Also great just to listen to Stephen Fry's narration.

We all know that without water we couldn't survive, and that sometimes a cup of coffee or a glass of wine feels just as vital. But do we really understand how much we rely on liquids, or the destructive power they hold? Set over the course of a flight from London to San Francisco, Liquid Rules offers listeners a fascinating tour of these formless substances, told through the language of molecules, droplets, heartbeats, and ocean waves.

This is a book for people interested in the science of everyday things. It's very easy to understand, with enough technical jargon to not make your mind drift but keep you interested. I can't wait to irritate my family with all the great trivia I learned.
