Historia
Is the Grand Canyon big enough to handle all of your worries? I wanted to know that answer, so I walked to the bottom to find out. For years, nature has taught us so many important lessons. The most important may be that we're a part of nature itself. Hiking has a way of bringing us closer to nature. Healing us. Reminding us of what's important and where our priorities are and should be. It makes us feel small, yet a bigger part of the universe around us.

I enjoyed this short audible. Sweet, thoughtful and thought provoking. Narrator is easy to listen to. Nice job.

Historia
The year is 1830. Native Americans of the American South and the Old Northwest live on the land they cultivated. Despite struggles and hardships, they’ve held on to what rightfully belongs to them. The land is a part of them. It is their lifeblood and their salvation. It is theirs’ until broken treaties and broken promises rip it from their clutches.

I love history and have an infinity toward Native Americans. I’ve studied the part of our history for several years and found this book to be a very concise and accurate depiction of what took place. A great book to introduce this part of our history to middle school through freshman college.
The narrator has an easy voice to listen to and did a nice job emphasizing in the right places. I would definitely read more of this series.

Julia Sweeney says she was a "happy Catholic girl" when, one day, she walked into church and signed up for a Bible-study course. "What an eye opener that was!" she says. Equally comedic and insightful, Letting Go of God is Sweeney's brilliant one-woman show about her struggle with her faith.

Love her take on things. Definitely. The Bible reminds me of The Wizard of Oz --both are fantasy. However; Oz is better written and much more entertaining!
