Historia
My name is Kvothe. You may have heard of me. So begins a tale told from his own point of view - a story unequaled in fantasy literature. Now in The Wise Man’s Fear, Day Two of The Kingkiller Chronicle, Kvothe takes his first steps on the path of the hero and learns how difficult life can be when a man becomes a legend in his own time.

Historia
In a locked Honolulu office building, three men are found dead with no sign of struggle except for the ultrafine, razor-sharp cuts covering their bodies. The only clue left behind is a tiny bladed robot, nearly invisible to the human eye. In the lush forests of Oahu, groundbreaking technology has ushered in a revolutionary era of biological prospecting. Trillions of microorganisms, tens of thousands of bacteria species, are being discovered; they are feeding a search for priceless drugs and applications on a scale beyond anything previously imagined.

Does not live up to Michael Crichton's name.
Revisado: 04-01-20
There were obvious concepts that came from the mind of Michael Crichton, but the story was written by someone with a clear lack of understanding of the potential of those concepts. I only wish he had been alive to finish it.
The narrator's voice and inability to pronounce certain words didn't help either.

Rushed ending
Revisado: 07-14-19
There seemed to be enough left for another chapter, but the ending was rushed and it was over before there was any resolution.

It was a little slow, but still good
Revisado: 06-10-19
There were a few chapters that were really repetitive and there was a lot of talking without any point, but things eventually came together.

Historia
Childhood friends Patricia Delfine and Laurence Armstead didn't expect to see each other again after parting ways under mysterious circumstances during high school. After all, the development of magical powers and the invention of a two-second time machine could hardly fail to alarm one's peers and families. But now they're both adults, living in the hipster mecca San Francisco, and the planet is falling apart around them.

The story had potential
Revisado: 05-26-19
But it turned out to be a lot of build-up with no real climax. It was kind of like when a TV series doesn't get another season and they have to try to wrap it all up in one episode.
