Historia
In Holt Douglas' line of work, there's nothing sweeter than a confession of guilt. Assistant D.A. Holt Douglas makes his living exposing lies and sending criminals to jail in Ashley County, Georgia. His job is always easier when defendants, instead of remaining silent, blame someone else or try to excuse their actions. With a confession in his hand, Holt knows a guilty plea will soon follow. But lurking in Holt's past is a dark secret that could end his successful career and possibly his relationship with Angelina, his hoped-for fiancé.

Heath McClure - not unless he learns how to read!
Would you recommend The Confession to your friends? Why or why not?
no - couldn't listen after a few chapters.
Would you be willing to try another one of Heath McClure’s performances?
no.
Do you think The Confession needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
n/a
Any additional comments?
Have to return the book even tho we have always enjoyed Robert Whitlow's writing. McClure made it impossible to even know if the book was any good as we couldn't get past his reading quirks and overall performance.

read by one awesome narrator
Revisado: 10-20-14
What was one of the most memorable moments of Plum Island?
Scott Brick blows us away. He switches voices, even does females without sounding stupid, and his casual back and forth dialogue is exquisite. He reads like people really talk. His inflections make the subtly humorous lines into laugh out loud material. Looking forward to the next two! or three?

former punk rock band member loves this book!
Revisado: 10-20-14
What did you love best about The Five?
The writer, whose other books are excellent yet nothing like this one, truly either knows what being in a band on the road is like, or really did his homework. He had it down. So real, yet with that mystery woven through - "get the bad guy" twist - to keep the reader on the edge of the seat. It will be interesting for those "outside" the business and relatable for those on the inside. Enjoy!
