A very exciting and interesting story from beginning to end. The main character, Chris is ruthless and does what needs to be done without question.I still find him very likeable. Well written and I look forward to reading more from Mr Rommel. Amanda Vargas narrated really well and was easy to listen to.

Absolutely loved this story. Held my attention right from the start to the end. Found The Burning Tree song very spellbinding and a great addition to the story.All the characters were believable and brought you into the drama and hardships of their lives. Kim Bretton does a wonderful job of narrator to an exceptional book.

I really enjoyed listening to this book and I think the narrator Jim Harbourne had a great voice that easily pulled you into the struggles of our normal everyday characters. Plenty of action and tense moments and I thought the description of the zombies was that good that I could almost smell them for real. Great start and looking forward to getting into the next book.
