Erin Mallon's diction was so distracting that I could hardly finish this book. Mallon has a way of drawing out that last syllable of a sentence that is so annoying. It was like narrating the sinking of the Titanic or the destruction of the Hindenburg in every line.

I listened for 4 hours and the story wasn't getting anywhere! So skipped to the last chapter just to see if there might be a twist! Nope... gave up!

I couldn't get into the story, it's rather shallow! The narration was terrible!
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Didn't have great dialogue to work with...again very shallow!
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
No! I even tried speeding up the narration but it didn't help!
