one of my favorite listening experiences ever

Imagine fighting a duel to the death and living to talk about it, another man's life ended, yours continued. Imagine surviving 60 sword fights. Musashi is anchored in reality and survival, in a way that a 16th century Japanese swordsman, or strategist as it is translated here, can be. This recording strikes a perfect tone and the recording enhanced my 2 year residence in Japan. You must consider these things deeply.

I enjoyed this audiobook, but the descriptions of rape were too graphic. I will look for the next book from this author, though.
