Historia
The end of her high-profile broadcasting career came too soon for TV journalist Alison Reynolds - bounced off the air by executives who wanted a "younger face". With a divorce from her cheating husband of 10 years also pending, there is nothing keeping her in L.A. any longer.

Great story! Horrible interruptions
Revisado: 07-02-21
I really enjoyed the story except for one thing, the music interruptions. It was distracting and unnecessary. Would have given it 5 stars if it had not been for those abrupt interruptions. Otherwise, I enjoyed the narrator, the story, and the fact I did not figure out who it was until right before it was revealed.

Lacy Marie Crocker can hardly believe it's been a year since her return home to New Orleans. There hasn't been a dull moment since opening her pet boutique last summer, and thanks to the popularity of Lacy's organic pet treats and the arrival of the National Pet Pageant, Lacy desperately needs some help before she is overrun by the demand for pupcakes and crinolines. Everything is going spectacularly until Viktor Petrov, the pageant emcee, takes a spill from the balcony during dress rehearsal.

I really enjoyed this series!! This was the best one yet and would love another 10 books in Kitty Couture! Definitely up there with my favorites! Love the characters and I really get into the story! The performance was excellent! Left wanting more, but happy for the ending if this is it.

This book ruined the series and author for me!
Revisado: 10-08-19
Why!? This just ruined my day! You definitely took a risk, but it was definitely not worth it on this one! Not sure I will listen to anymore books by this author in fear of a main character being killed off!

Historia
It's Christmastime, but not everyone is jolly - especially not Vonne Barnett. Her dead body has been found in Victoria Square. Katie Bonner, the manager of Artisan's Alley, happens to be at the tea shop Vonne's mother, Francine, owns when the news is delivered. Vonne left a trail of men behind her so the suspects are many - but the clues are few. A broken teacup leads Katie to one of the suspects, but before she can investigate, she's attacked. Katie may be closing in on a murderer, but time is ticking because the murderer is definitely closing in on her.

The best yet in this series!
Revisado: 12-14-18
I originally had a hard time getting into the first book, but each book has gotten better and better. Can’t wait for more books in this series. Was on the edge of my seat figuring out who Katie was going to end up with, but I guess we will see. I was very surprised at the culprit in the murder and one of the first times I really did not know who it was until the very end. I usually have some inkling, so this book definitely held me fast in anticipation.

Though Chris and Taya Kyle's marriage had its difficult moments, it was always a love story. Together they'd endured military service, a best-selling book, unexpected fame, and a film deal starring a hot Hollywood actor. But just when Taya thought that she and Chris were finally going to live their dream together, her husband was murdered. In the wake of his death, a grieving Taya was left to raise her two young children and handle the many things Chris left behind.

A must read
Revisado: 10-08-18
Really enjoyed hearing Taya’s perspective on things. Enjoyed American sniper and now American Wife. As I listened, there were many times it got me in the feels as I imagined the pain she went through during her marriage and then Chris’s death. What I most enjoyed is that she actually read the book herself and it just added the touch I needed to round it off. I recommend this to everyone who wants to get the perspective from the wife of a legend and hero in our US military.

A different book from Beverly Lewis
Revisado: 09-24-18
I love Beverly Lewis books! However, this one took me a while to actually get into, but I finally started to make sense of things and was totally drawn in. Not a typical Lewis book, but once all the pieces of the story came together it was a sweet ending with a twist I did not see coming.

Another great book, but noticeable technical problems
Revisado: 07-12-18
Another great book by Beverly Lewis! Stina Nielsen was definitely the best narrator for this series. She captured the characters in a remarkable way. Only downside to this recording was the technical difficulties I heard. Things that should have been tuned out, like pages turning, echos of the studio etc... were not probably edited out. Awkward pauses were very noticeable or quick transitions from chapter to chapter were quick to make me cringe. Aside from these technical problems that were by no means the narrator’s fault, her performance was fantastic!

Historia
New York Times and USA Today best-selling Christian novelist Beverly Lewis continues her tradition of Amish stories with the Annie's People series. In the first book, Lewis addresses young Annie Zook's inner conflict between the strong bonds of her family and faith and the allurement of her talent. Her love of drawing has thus prevented her from choosing a husband, much to her Old Order preacher father's consternation.

A great narrator!
Revisado: 07-10-18
Another wonderful book by Beverly Lewis. I really enjoyed the narrator on this one because she really captured the lingo and expressions that I imagine Louisa having. A cozy book to cuddle up with under the covers to get lost in the story. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
