Historia
As dusk approaches a small Dublin suburb in the summer of 1984, mothers begin to call their children home. But on this warm evening, three children do not return from the dark and silent woods. When the police arrive, they find only one of the children gripping a tree trunk in terror, wearing blood-filled sneakers, and unable to recall a single detail of the previous hours. Twenty years later, the found boy, Rob Ryan, is a detective on the Dublin Murder Squad and keeps his past a secret.

Good Dectective story, but
Revisado: 10-28-19
The story is good at best. It should have ended 4 hours sooner. I did like the narrator's voice.

Lots of info
Revisado: 08-02-18
Lots of technical info and statistics but I'm a math nerd so that was interesting to me and made a great argument for why this method is the best.

Not what I expected
Revisado: 06-06-18
As others have posted, audio book is out of order.... I personally do not have time to search for the parts that go together... that's what editing is for... I was excited to listed to the S.H. in order.... the audio book is not even in order.
As for the narrator.... from the parts of stories I heard, he is ok.... but not someone I would search for other narrated books.

Interesting Information / Fascinating subject
Revisado: 06-06-18
Fascinating subject and the story behind pulling this all together. The book information jumps around a bunch and repeats stories ( of the author) .... all in all good book.

Historia
The Brave Athlete solves the 13 most common mental conundrums athletes face in their everyday training and in races. You don't have one brain - you have three; your ancient Chimp brain that keeps you alive, your modern Professor brain that navigates the civilized world, and your Computer brain that accesses your memories and runs your habits (good and bad). They fight for control all the time and that's when bad things happen. What if you could stop the thoughts and feelings you don't want? You can.
