I wanted to like this but it depends on taste

I don’t mind harems but when too much time is focused on the sex part it becomes too much for me. Just too much focus on the sex scenes for me.

I'm really trying to like this

I'm over 15 hours in. It has been a real challenge listening since the pace is slow and the performance is really, really bad. I don't mind the slow reading from the narrator but he is a little bit monotonous compared to the other readers I've listened to. The mic used by the male and female readers are quite obviously different as well. The quality of their mics are really worlds apart. The female reader sounds cute but the problem is that she's very robotic. My difinition of robotic is that she uses the same linguistic style for all the female characters. There isn't enough difference in voice and pitch for each character to differentiate them from one another. I'm really having a hard time finishing this book. I've got an upcoming 8 hour drive. I'll hopefully finish this soon. I'll update if anything changes. Maybe I'll just read the book and see if it gets any better. The narrators really have a big impact on how an audiobook is perceived and right now I'm just torturing myself. Sorry for leaving a bad review. I try to support independent writers as much as I can but this one is just hard to support.

Nice to listen to but I think you get a better understanding and better perspective on the debate if you watch it instead. However, if you don't have time to watch it, I recommend listening to it.
The spin both camps put on the debate make it hard to understand what really happened.
