Historia
From coast to coast, our nation is witnessing a new wave of terror. Suicide bombers incite blind panic and paralyzing fear. A flight attendant tries to crash an airliner. A police officer opens fire on fans in a stadium. And at CIA headquarters, a deputy director goes on a murderous rampage. The perpetrators appear to be American - but they are covert agents in a vast network of terror, selected and trained for one purpose only: the complete annihilation of America.

His Alaska Trooper Mysteries Much Better
Revisado: 02-09-25
I absolutely loved Marc Cameron's mysteries of an Alaskan trooper because the characters had depth and complexity, the plots were well written and paced. The descriptions took me back to my life in Alaska and were authentic. I read all of them and will buy the next one. While the Jericho Quinn is an interesting hero, the writing reminds me more of James Patterson's style which is too shallow and too fast for me.

I read these cozy mysteries to get an idea of the local more rural culture. Nicely plotted and good description.

A little too spooky do for me
Revisado: 06-26-24
I like the police procedurals from Joy Ellis, but this one looks like it is launching a psychic line. I prefer mysteries that stay within the bounds of scientific proof. It is well written but the constant rehashing of feelings dragged down the pace. I won't be following this series.

Well paced with a slow reveal. Can’t wait until this series reaches production. The author has created a fascinating universe of interesting characters and a mystery series without excessive gore. I’ve read all available on Audible.

More show, less tell

Sappy love story interferes with mystery

I was looking for a new series, but this isn't it. The love story interferes with the pace of the mystery. I had to skip chapters to avoid listening to it.

Wonderful descriptions
Revisado: 05-26-23
I lived in Alaska in the 1970s and this series brings it all back: the beauty, the culture, the pace of life. The characters bring back the unique blend of solitude and intimacy of living in the wilderness.
