This book moves along at a nice pace. It reminds me of stories like “Stand By Me,” “It,” and the series “Stranger Things.” Sometimes it seems to draw too much reference from those plot lines. Still, it has its own original spin.

Lou Petrella does excellent work distinguishing each character with individual voice types. There are lots of characters. I don’t know how he keeps them all organized. He has a pleasant voice to listen to for long periods.

Overall, a very entertaining horror yarn for those who like that genre (like me.) It would make a good TV series.

Upbeat narration of practical self-help book

I can’t think of anyone better to have narrated this book than Audiobook reader Lou Petrella. I know Lou personally, and I can tell you from firsthand experience, he is the embodiment of self-confidence, joy, and kindness. He could have written this book himself, so it was a delight to hear him read the words as if they were his own. I love hearing Lou read in any genre, because I just love hearing his voice, but the self-help genre is particularly suitable to his talent as an audiobook reader.

Inspiring, practical, and motivational, the book is concisely laid out, focusing on the various ways our thoughts and attitudes prevent us from achieving our goals, and solutions to overcome them. I highly recommend it.

A marvelous listen!

It’s refreshing to hear an audio book with such clear diction. I can understand every word. Yet, he still is able to bring out the characters in his performance. Lou Petrella has such a pleasing quality to his voice, I could listen to it for hours. And he has a fun, mischievous quality to his performance on this book. He reads it like he’s telling you a deep, dark secret. Fun!

A fun and invigorating performance by Lou Petrella

Lou Petrella has a voice with a warm, inviting tone that's easy to listen to for hours. He has a nice, clear reading style, and concise vocal inflections for each character in the book. There's also an air of mystery to his reading style that makes you want to keep listening. You can tell Mr. Petrella is enjoying the story as much as the listener. There is a real sense of fun in his performance. I'm looking forward to hearing more audiobooks by Lou Petrella.
