Historia
Jesus warned that deception would grow worse as we draw nearer to the end times, saying, "Take heed that no one deceives you" (Matthew 24:4). Distinguishing truth from error has become an increasingly challenging task—even in the church. We live in a time when falsehoods assault us from every direction. Packaged with just enough truth to make them appear trustworthy, these counterfeits have grown more and more difficult to detect and avoid. Living in the Daze of Deception explores the many ways error is masquerading as truth—and how you can discern the difference.

This book is a great reminder for Christians to not allow the themselves to "give in" to the never-ending onslaught of "compromise" that so cleverly tries to sneak its way into our lives.

This is the book you want to keep with you at all times: the full text of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, the two documents that are the backbone of United States government. Hearing them as they were written is a must for every American. Regular listening is required for any historian or member of the legal profession, and a good idea for all Americans.

Other reviewers have criticized this book as being biased, based on its interpretatione section, while others criticize this as being part of a patriarchy (all imaginary).
This book is an accurate representation of the greatest document ever established by mankind, and affords the above mentioned critics the liberty of bad talk without risk of punishment or imprisonment.

America, in so many ways, has forgotten: Its roots, its purpose, its identity - all have become shrouded behind a veil of political correctness bent on twisting the nation’s founding, and its founders, to fit within a misshapen modern mold. The time has come to remember again. In The Jefferson Lies, prominent historian David Barton sets out to correct the distorted image of once-beloved founding father Thomas Jefferson.

Excellent life knowledge advice. Touching, as Mr. Peterson wrote of his personal family struggles and their perseverance. As a Christian, I'm glad to see him often referencing scripture, and I hope all who read this are drawn by the Holy Spirit to the Hope that is in Christ alone.

Historia
During a train trip from Chicago to Texas in the late 1940s, A.W. Tozer began to write The Pursuit of God. He wrote all night, and when the train arrived at his destination, the rough draft was done. The depth of this book has made it an enduring favorite.

John Bunyan
Revisado: 05-02-16
I enjoyed the book/reading, and I would recommend to others. It's quite interesting to read about the life and times of an author who's book is second only to the Bible (so I've heard). From his rebellious beginnings, struggles, losses and trials, to a committed and transformed life of a dedicated believer. Let's hope there's a little John Bunyan in all of us who call ourselves believers.

Historia
This is an updated version for all ages retold in wonderful storytelling fashion. John Bunyan was a simple maker and mender of pots and pans who received very little education. In spite of that, he penned the most successful allegory ever written. Embark on a perilous journey with Christian, the lead character, from the City of Destruction to the luminous safe haven of the Celestial City. The journey will encourage you to “set your hope fully on the grace to be given you” amidst the obstacles of life.
