Historia
Gracelyn Riley married a firefighter and knew that came with risks. But she never imagined herself widowed in her early 30s with two children to care for on her own. Even though her marriage to Chad Riley had its difficulties, dealing with the last year without him has not been easy. Her brother-in-law, Matt, has been the rock that has kept her from collapsing or imploding. As a Mason Ridge fireman, Matt Riley had been at the scene when his brother, Chad, was killed. For the last year, Matt has suffered from survivor’s guilt and drank himself into oblivion. Gracelyn's friendship has pulled him through time and time again until he finally sobered up.

Emotional and could not put it down
Revisado: 02-16-19
I was lucky to receive this audible book and in return give an honest review.
This book had my heart pounding and breaking and finally healing. I thought it was well written and the characters relatable. Dual POV are my favorite and the author did a good job bring both characters thoughts, feelings and struggles to the forefront. The narrators were able to bring all of that to life. That combination was audiobook you don’t want to hit the pause button for, and one that you feel all the emotions.
Do yourself a favor and listen/read this book. You won’t be sorry.

Historia
A series of weather and road mishaps leave me trapped in the middle of a blizzard with a complete stranger. In the back of a pickup truck. For 48 freakin' hours. A stranger with long hair, tattoos, and rippling with muscle. A stranger with an insanely sexy voice and a wicked smile that turns my insides to jelly. A stranger who holds me in his arms, calms me, and then sets a fire in me that I can't put out.

Great story, not fond of the narrator!!
Revisado: 05-24-16
Would you listen to Storm again? Why?
Listen? NO! Read absolutely!!! I had to stop halfway through the audio because I just could not listen to the narrator any longer. I was however invested into the story so I finished reading the book.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Storm?
I liked the way Storm wanted Evie to be with him and his family at Christmas. It was not the fact that Evie was alone on the holiday so much as what Storm was hoping his future would hold with Evie. The same love and devotion as his parents. It's all about family.
How could the performance have been better?
A different narrattor.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It was very heartfelt and yes very comical at times. The connection was strong with this family.
Any additional comments?
I did read the other three books and found them to be wonderful and can't wait for the audio versions. Take a chance with this book ...you won't be disappointed 🤓
