Historia
In Gay Girl, Good God, author Jackie Hill Perry shares her own story, offering practical tools that helped her in the process of finding wholeness. Jackie grew up fatherless and experienced gender confusion. She embraced masculinity and homosexuality with every fiber of her being. She knew that Christians had a lot to say about all of the above. But was she supposed to change herself? How was she supposed to stop loving women, when homosexuality felt more natural to her than heterosexuality ever could?

Historia
After nearly four decades of ministry, Andrew Wommack has discovered some important truths about prayer. His prayer life is much different than it was thirty years ago and the results have dramatically improved! You may be asking many of the same questions Andrew once did. Is prayer my Christian duty? Is prayer primarily about asking God to meet my needs and the needs of others? Is God's answer to my prayer based on the degree of my humility and sincerity? Is answered prayer a sovereign decision of God or do I have the ability to influence Him?

Historia
For the first time, Gucci Mane tells his story in his own words. It is the captivating life of an artist who forged an unlikely path to stardom and personal rebirth. Gucci Mane began writing his memoir in a maximum-security federal prison. Released in 2016, he emerged radically transformed. He was sober, smiling, focused, and positive - a far cry from the Gucci Mane of years past. Born in rural Bessemer, Alabama, Radric Delantic Davis became Gucci Mane in East Atlanta, where the rap scene is as vibrant as the dope game.

If you could take any character from Left Behind out to dinner, who would it be and why?

In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

So good...
Revisado: 08-16-13
What made the experience of listening to 11-22-63 the most enjoyable?
I felt like I was there with the protagonist, experiencing the sites, sounds, and feelings of a time gone by.
What other book might you compare 11-22-63 to and why?
Don't know.
Have you listened to any of Craig Wasson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Don't think so.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
If I had nothing going on in my life I would have gladly listened from first utterance to last. I have a long commute and this made it more than tolerable. I couldnt' wait to get in my car on my way to and from work or the grocery store!
Any additional comments?
I felt like I was losing a good friend as I got towards the end of the book. It had kept me company for many miles in my car.

Historia

Against his better judgment he arrives at the shack on a wintry afternoon and walks back into his darkest nightmare.

The Second Time Around Is Even Better!
Revisado: 01-14-13
If you could sum up The Shack in three words, what would they be?
Encouraging, Enlightening, and Enveloping!
Who was your favorite character and why?
I loved Mac. He embodies the feelings, thoughts, failings, and frailties of humanity.
Have you listened to any of Roger Mueller’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Listened to CrossRoads. Loved both performances equally.
If you could rename The Shack, what would you call it?
What an interesting question! I think the title is perfect just as is, but since you asked I'll just say God Revealed. My title sucks. The title as the Shack is just perfect as is. And a movie should be made and it should still be The Shack. Or maybe Shack, the Movie...lol.
Seriously though, I hope it becomes a movie and is done well with all the CGI technology available now. Please don't let it be done poorly like some other christian movies that I could name but will not...:o)
Any additional comments?
I read the Shack the first time and it drew me in and I was sad when it was over. This time on Audible, having it performed drew me in even more. I delayed the ending as much as I could possibly stand because I didn't want it to end. I felt like Mac when he realizes he has to "go back". I didn't want to go back to my commute without having the world of The Shack. The only way to have improved the book was to have it read by Roger Mueller. I definitely didn't waste my money buying the book AND buying it on Audible the second time.

Historia
Anthony Spencer is egotistical, proud of being a self-made business success at the peak of his game, even though the cost of winning was painfully high. A cerebral hemorrhage leaves Tony comatose in a hospital ICU. He 'awakens' to find himself in a surreal world, a 'living' landscape that mirrors dimensions of his earthly life, from the beautiful to the corrupt.

Not Exactly Shack-Like
Revisado: 12-19-12
What made the experience of listening to Cross Roads the most enjoyable?
Good story. EXCELLENT Narrator! I love how the author makes the spiritual almost tangible.
Would you recommend Cross Roads to your friends? Why or why not?
Yes, I would recommend it. It's not The Shack, but it's a good story. By the end I was crying. But with The Shack I was crying at points throughout the book.
Have you listened to any of Roger Mueller’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, I have not, but his performance in CrossRoads was awesome. I only read The Shack. Now I'm going back to The Shack and this time on Audible. I can't wait. I hope there's something comparable to the Oscars for people who do these book performances, because Mr. Mueller deserves one.
Who was the most memorable character of Cross Roads and why?
Tony. But it's because the way the narrator acted the part of the downs syndrome child. I can still here him saying, "Tony."
Any additional comments?
Young's books, at the right time, should be given to the people of Newtown, CT. Anyone who has experienced tragedy, and that's all of us at some time or other, should have the experience of reading/hearing The Shack and Crossroads.

Truly a Father First!
Revisado: 10-01-12
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone. It is a testimony to how far the love of a parent can reach. It will inspire us all to be better people because little eyes are watching.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I loved hearing about Dwayne's mother. I loved the honestly raw details shared with the reader as well as how she slowly became more than anyone ever expected of her.
Have you listened to any of Prentice Onayemi’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No I have not but he was EXCELLENT!!!!!! I believed it was Dwayne talking. I forgot it wasn't actually Dwayne. His ability to differentiate between characters, even between males and females, was expertly done!
What did you learn from A Father First that you would use in your daily life?
Never give up and love hard.
