Historia
After a slow summer of chasing low-level skips for her cousin Vinnie's bail bonds agency, Stephanie Plum finally lands an assignment that could put her checkbook back in the black. Geoffrey Cubbin, facing trial for embezzling millions from Trenton's premier assisted-living facility, has mysteriously vanished from the hospital after an emergency appendectomy. Now it's on Stephanie to track down the con man. Unfortunately, Cubbin has disappeared without a trace, a witness, or his money-hungry wife. Rumors are stirring that he must have had help with the daring escape...or that maybe he never made it out of his room alive.

Stale story.
Revisado: 02-13-16
Evanovich has run her course wth Stephanie Plum. None of the Plum books get very far with the storylines. They are overshadowed by cute vignettes chained together by the stories. However, there are only so many vignettes that one can draw from the finite relationships in her life. I thought I was rereading her first book.

Historia
The debut psychological thriller that will forever change the way you look at other people's lives. Every day the same. Rachel takes the same commuter train every morning and night. Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She’s even started to feel like she knows them. Jess and Jason, she calls them. Their life - as she sees it - is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost.

Page Turning Inertia
Revisado: 11-29-15
It is hard to maintain interest in a story if you can't identify or at least care for any of the characters. The central character is an alcoholic who repeatedly makes bad decisions and doesn't learn from her mistakes. All the others are unlikeable in some way without any redeemable qualities.

A Page Turning Puzzle
Revisado: 07-31-15
The story is a puzzle where the pieces are carefully drawn together as it proceeds. It is well written and engages the reader throughout. The narration is excellent except where it is some words spoken in accent become difficult to understand.
