I enjoyed each of the stories. Erika created believable characters and situations. Pat Mahoney's narration was excellent. I was impressed by his range as he change his voice between characters. His music also enhanced the listening experience without detracting from the stories themselves.

This book is the third in a series. Although they are stand alone books, I think reading the first two would have made the characters more for me, more able to understand their interactions, The story itself was exciting, Loved all the plot twists and unexpected turns as the authors build to the final outcome. Written by two people the story seems to be more rounded, the situations almost feel like I am seeing them from a 360 viewpoint.

Would you listen to Cobalt again? Why?

Yes I loved the way the narrator captured the characters. The subtle wit and sarcasm was related well. Tone of voice and general quality was amazing.

Who was your favorite character and why?

TER, I loved her wit. I know she was just the inner workings but the narrator made you feel her frustration.."You could have for an orange". When she was unable to help, because of lack of memory (In the weapons part) you could feel her empathy for Petra, her concern.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was when Petra was facing Vick for the 2nd time and had no guns, Loved the quick thinking and the sarcasm that occurred there.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No extreme reactions, I was saddened when Petra related how she died to Jim. I could tell he was expecting more, I felt for him. I was teary when they both succumbed to the attack at the warehouse too.

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed the pace of the story, It flowed and kept my interest. I listened to the whole book in one sitting. I could not stop. The details and facts interspersed throughout the book made me wonder about the possibility. Will be getting many more of CG Blade's books.
