The change in the performer was jarring in the last book, but I enjoyed it much more in this book. he seems to have warmed to the story and characters this time around. looking forward to the next one.

Story progression. Multiple authors can be jarring

Good story, love the authors work. I will have to listen again because the multi-author approach threw me. I'm used to certain voices for the characters, especially Mordred and didn't get that here. Defiantly messed with me. First time listening to the books before reading them first so that may have caused issues as well. Definite buy, just be prepared for the different voices. Narrators were great, it was just different.

Unlikable main character, too much rehashing

I couldn't finish it. It felt like the main female character had the same conversation multiple times over the course of portion of the story I was able to get through. She turned me off quickly. There was charter growth during the story but I felt it was plodding and sl okow. I like most of this authors stores, but if this book is any indication, this series is not for me.

Great book. This is what I always look for in a Drizzt story. Less Drow intrigue and more story about Drizzt and his companions. Highly recommend.

one of my favorite series

excellent second book in a great series. The narrator is fantastic and brings another level to the story. I've listened to this book at least 5 times over the years and still enjoy it every time.

overall enjoyable. I found the build up to the action a little slow but understood that the author was setting a tone and showing the reader how important TH is to everyone. nice continuation to a good story. I found it a little short though.

I enjoyed this book. excellent narrator, great story. if you enjoy a nice spin on magic and some high seas I would recommend a listen.
