I love the accent she gave him even if her voice did make him sound a little girly
Revisado: 06-19-24
The story was very good, very traditional cruel and tricky fae which was a good difference from some fae in books where they only have hearts of gold. I like Kaye, and I love Roiben.

Historia
King Shrewd is dead at the hands of his son Regal. As is Fitz - or so his enemies and friends believe. But with the help of his allies and his beast magic, he emerges from the grave, deeply scarred in body and soul. The kingdom also teeters toward ruin: Regal has plundered and abandoned the capital, while the rightful heir, Prince Verity, is lost to his mad quest - perhaps to death. Only Verity's return - or the heir his princess carries - can save the Six Duchies.

I am changed
Revisado: 05-20-24
The brilliance of this series, the depth of character work, the genius of plot through all three. Spoiler: for the reason for the Red Ships and how and why the forging was done to be finally answered in the last chapter, satisfyingly and everything to click into place, even the "Cycles of cycles", I was stunned. Speechless in the reason for it all. Everything was beautifully laid out and uncovered. And the suffering that Fitz goes through, feels never ending, but so real and raw. His pain and loyalty and sacrifice are mine, his triumph so earned. I.... it's so good. it's so good.

Historia
The Hexologists, Iz and Warren Wilby, are quite accustomed to helping desperate clients with the bugbears of city life. Aided by hexes and a bag of charmed relics, the Wilbies have recovered children abducted by chimney-wraiths, removed infestations of barb-nosed incubi, and ventured into the Gray Plains of the Unmade to soothe a troubled ghost. Well-acquainted with the weird, they never shy away from a challenging case.

The mispronounciations
Revisado: 01-08-24
Love the book, very good. Witty, fun, interesting, top notch. The narrators continued mispronounciations kept killing me though. one of the most pervasive was "secreting". I'll give you that to secret and to secrete are bathing spelled secreting in the present participle and secreted in the past tense, but secret is se-crit and secrete is se-creeet with the long eee and have VERY different meanings. so when a character meant to hide something in their pocket, secreting it or se-crit-ting it, and instead the narrator said se-creeet-ing it, it made me invision her leaking from all pores instead. and this word is used a bunch in the book. lol.

Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

I love this book!
Revisado: 12-20-23
it's a perfect Sci-fi book in my eyes. Sciencey but fun and believable while being humorous and tender hearted. I don't know how to explain how much I loved it. And the narration is very good!

Historia
I’m the face of professional bull riding—the golden boy. Or at least I was, until it all blew up in my face. Now my agent says I have to clean up my image, so I’m stuck with his ball-busting daughter for the rest of the season as my “full-time supervision.”

Too vulgar for me personally
Revisado: 12-11-23
The voice acting was good, nothing to complain about on the narration. I just personally don't like it when "romance" (this didnt feel like a romance; he didn't put in much to woo her, romance her, they both listed after each other from the beginning so it was a lust/porn book, not ✨️romance✨️) books use "cock", "pussy" etc so much, yoo vulgar. I like more flowery words or closed door. I won't read anything else by her cause if the point is a story to surround shut I'm not here for it. A little spice in a book where the point is actual romance is more my speed.
