Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Megan placed Harry's "in-the-buff-body, set him on roller-skates" then took him as a Pull-Toy for Halloween....Basically, two wealthy spoiled brats, one complaining about being "Second" and the other with more Race Cards in her wallet than Social Calling Cards. (As an aside here, was *I* the ONLY One who didn't realize she was "Black"??) I only discovered that she was "supposedly Black" when she began hurling Race Card Defenses around...& I had watched some Suits episodes!
Don't buy this book...read 5 to 8 articles in google about "spare" and you'll know everything you need...it's not worth your time, & Harry is very long winded & wildly enamored with himself & how Megan makes him feel. I feel so sorry for what QEII & Charles III have endured at the hand of these two selfish people! Harry was once the apple of the Kingdom's Eyes, but his acting out is embarrassing to

Historia
Master Hugh, Kate, and their children attend the Midsummer’s Eve fire. Early next morning, Hugh hears the passing bell ring from the Church of St. Beornwald and moments later is summoned. Tenants collecting the ashes to spread upon their fields have found burned bones. Master Hugh learns of several men of Bampton and nearby villages who have gone missing recently. Most are soon found, some alive, some dead. Master Hugh eventually learns that the bones are those of a bailiff from a nearby manor. Someone has slain him and placed his body in the fire to destroy evidence of murder.

I just adore the adventures of (Now "Sir) Hugh de Singleton, our 15th Century Sherlock. I suppose that since #14 isn't recorded, I'll have to begin with #1 again. (Sadly, my vision keeps me from READING the book, available on Amazon, so I wait for audible)

I love the entire series! Hugh de singleton is a level headed surgeon/bailiff which close to Sherlockian tendencies! Waiting for the next one, Mr Starr!

Historia
Some would call this an autobiography. Others would say it's a hell of a story. I call it my life. Living it had become the norm, but choosing to write about it wasn't easy. It's one thing to react to whatever life throws at you, and another to reflect on it. I've been sentenced to life imprisonment, and confined to a prison within a prison, for a crime I did not commit. Being outspoken and relentless in fighting for justice had become my only choice, and as it turns out, my redemption. My personal life, on the other hand, I have chosen to keep private. Until now.

10 stars!Rafael's personal story is beyond description! It's horrific, fascinating, frustrating & full of historical stories of survival in some of the worst prisons in the worlds worst prisons, yet Rafael never loses hope & he encourages the men he meets to continue to improve their own lives & prepare for life "outside" the walls. I cannot wait for more of Rafael's insight & patient understanding as he experiences each prison he visits, & gets each inmate to reveal His crime, personality & his wishes & dreams. Rowe is my new favorite aUthor! His voice is clear & clearly pronounced, & I can't imagine a "professional" reader doing a better job ! Huzzah!

Historia
In 1969, five young men from Montana set out to accomplish what no one had before: to scale the sheer north face of Mt. Cleveland, Glacier National Park’s tallest mountain, in winter. Two days later tragedy struck: They were buried in an avalanche so deep that their bodies would not be discovered until the following June. The White Death is the riveting account of that fated climb and of the breathtakingly heroic rescue attempt that ensued.

NOT about the tragedy in Glacier National Park
Revisado: 02-01-22
This is about the history of mountain climbing & some of the science of snow. There are only 4 chapters about the 5 boys who died in that avalanche. I was VERY disappointed! Thousands of disjointed factoids. Narration was ok. I'm returning this!

Historia
This book is a definitive biography of Martha Canary, the woman popularly known as Calamity Jane. Written by one of today’s foremost authorities on this notorious character, it is a meticulously researched account of how an alcoholic prostitute was transformed into a Wild West heroine. Always on the move across the northern plains, Martha was more camp follower than the scout of legend. A mother of two, she often found employment as waitress, laundress, or dance hall girl and was more likely to be wearing a dress than buckskin.

Don’t waste your Credit on this!
Revisado: 01-26-22
Narrator is awful…he seems to just drone on, repeating possible rumors & “but this can’t be verified” every few minutes. This contains a number of women possibly named “Martha” are included, especially any woman who swears or drinks or both. (But, this can’t be verified) “It may be possible that Calamity”…this seems to compile all the “legends” but none of the facts one might expect from a “Biography”. “Martha may have tried to nurse Daniel Boone, but he died” WHAT? I am returning this to the junk pile…it’s not even good for putting you to sleep. I don’t want to hear “It may be possible that Martha…..” ever again!

Historia
In The End Is Always Near, Dan Carlin looks at questions and historical events that force us to consider what sounds like fantasy; that we might suffer the same fate that all previous eras did. Will our world ever become a ruin for future archaeologists to dig up and explore? The questions themselves are both philosophical and like something out of The Twilight Zone.

I can listen to the same podcast 6 or 7 times and learn something new every time as well! Dan has a wonderful voice; I “channeled” GenghisKhan for what seemed like a few years...I’ve listened only once, & im not too ashamed to admit that I really need more than “just one listen” to “get” Dan Carlin! ....I always see that as a good thing!
