Yes, on all fronts, this dramatization was fantastically performed, had an engaging and humorous storyline, and left me wanting more.

I struggle to not roll my eyes while listening to this book. It was far too cliche and stereotype driven for my liking. The lead female character was at times a strong independent woman, yet when confronted bye egotistical chauvinistic males, she reverts to a timid Damsel in Distress. I've read too many books like this before to feel like there was anything new or exciting about it.

I've been looking for a book to take my mind off things, and the previous books I had read were less than satisfying. Then, I came across this book. Not only was I entertained, my husband walked in while I was listening, and he is now obsessed with a book series as well. This is a fun, fantastical read

The combinations of the odd wording, along with the distracting narrator, did not work for me. It's not a bad book, many people will enjoy it, but for me, it just didn't hit the mark. I wish I could pinpoint what the narrator was doing that was so off-putting for me, but something just kept pulling me out of the story, making it hard for me to feel engaged with the story.

A ride to nowhere

Certain aspects of the story were very entertaining, and yet other parts fell short. The ending was the most disappointing portion. It felt like I was on a ride that ended up going nowhere. I didn't feel there was a wrap-up or conclusion, more of just an abrupt end without answers.

from the description I was really looking forward to this book, the story was kind of a letdown. Hyper-sexualized, which is fine but it didn't really seem to fit the rest of the story. It didn't work for me, but it may work for other people.

I enjoy a good Sci-Fi / horror book, but It wrapped up too abruptly for my liking. I did enjoy the storyline and performance quite a bit.

I was really hoping this would be a book I could get into, but the storyline was just so hard to believe and not in a good way. The character development seemed unnatural, and I just could not connect with, or care about the characters. This might be a good book for someone else, but not for me.
