Free First Chapter: The Jungle Audiolibro Por Upton Sinclair arte de portada

Great book HORRIBLE NARRATOR

Total
1 out of 5 stars

Revisado: 01-29-11

Do not waste a credit or your money on anything by this narrator. The book is a great read but Casey Afleck was terrible. The worst on Audible I have ever heard.

Great new series

Total
5 out of 5 stars

Revisado: 06-27-10

I have seen reviews from 1 to 4-5 on the first episode of this series, The Sacrifice. First of all you have to be a sci-fi fantasy person to really appreciate this type of book. I personally enjoyed The Sacrifice and just downloaded the second book in the series.

Most series like this in the past have not been available traditionally from places like Audible. Authors of this genre have been available through podcast sites, their own websites or self published. Believe me there are some great authors of this genre out there that do not have the ability to get on Audible.

I think that by Audible giving away the first episode was brilliant. I never heard of this author until now. Result is now I will download all 5 episodes. I hope Audible will allow more authors of this type to get their books on this site for exposure.

Too bad the people who left the bad reviews. They downloaded the book because it was free, it was not the genre the normally read and therefore the bad reviews. For readers who like this genre you will be happy and satisfied.

Why so many versions on Audible of this Title?

Total
2 out of 5 stars

Revisado: 03-16-10

Very long winded novel. Good plot line but could have been told in half the time. The reason for leaving feadback at this time, 2 years later, is that there are like 5-6 versions of this book on Audible, including on just released this month in March 2010. I only gave it 2 stars because it stalled too many times. Which totally confusing me why there are so many versions on Audible. If I was interested in this title I would download the newest version. This one was boring.

Another long awaited Deep Black sequel

Total
5 out of 5 stars

Revisado: 02-13-09

I love the Deep Black Series from Stephen Coonts. I miss that this one was not co-written along with Jim DeFelice. It is well written but you can tell the difference. The second issue I have is the constant irritation of the repitition of the the longitude and lattitude almost at the beginning of each sentence. The book would not lose anything without the constant references. It became so annoying at times I almost had to stop listening. There is another very upsetting twist in the plot that was disturbing to a loyal Deep Black fan. I will not be a spoiler here. But loyalists will be upset with the author.

I hope that the next Deep Black book will have Jim DeFelice back. I liked his style. I don't know why there was a change. He was missed in the novel. Still a good story line
