Absolutely enjoyed this book and got a good deal of information that I haven't gotten anywhere else. However, although the narrator has a wonderful voice and is really talented, he blows it by doing "voices". Please, Mr. Kessel, don't do those fake voices anymore. Your "woman" voice sounds simpering and ridiculous, and your "male" voice sounds like a 1940's New Jersey movie gangster. You would be so much better at this if you just dropped these silly voices and read the quoted narratives in your own voice. You aren't making the audiobook better by doing this, you're throwing the listener out of the "spell". All in all, I enjoyed this book - but the voices made for some really cringy moments I could have done without.

Dear Amy, for the love of god please stop doing that "man-voice". Every time you do it, it throws the listener out of the story. You don't have to use a fake voice to denote a man speaking - the listeners can figure that out for themselves. I can't tell you how distracting it is. It reminds me of Daphne on "Frasier" doing her "American accent" - it's fake, it detracts from the story, and it is totally unnecessary. Your reading is very good, but this strange voice really ruins it. If I had noticed the man-voice on the sample, I wouldn't have wasted a credit on this book. I'd have just let Alexa read my Kindle version.
