Great to finally have an unabridged version of this. The abridged version I had previously would have been incomprehensible if I hadn't read the physical book!

Please, please, please bring out unabridged versions of the other butchered books. I'd love to listen to the Kerensky trilogy that introduced the Clans

This book is a wonderfully complex story with lots of political double dealing interspersed with some great action scenes. A great romp through the Inner Sphere and beyond!

Brilliant gem of a series

Original setting, great characters, flawless blend of sci fi and hard boiled detective novel. Three episodes so far. Check them all out, you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely Perfect

Characters were spit on and using the original actors meant the voices were all as expected. Story was great and just cries out for a sequel...hint, hint!!!

Much loved stories brought to life

I've loved these books since they first came out in print. I was over the moon to find them in audiobook form. An amazing cast of characters, and not a stereotype amongst them. Fantastic writing from a stable of brilliant authors that the editor has managed to meld into a seamless whole.

The only downside for me is that they haven't recorded the rest of the original run of novels.

Absolutely Brilliant

I loved the fact this was set in the North of England near where I grew up.

The characters were original in character, if not in power set and the dynamics between them is realistic and heartwarming.

The only fault I can find is that this seems to be it. So if Mr. Howard is listening.... MORE PLEASE!!!!

This one grabbed my interest right out of the gate and kept it to the very end.

Original ideas and great characters. Steers clear of the usual gore fest.

I was initially dubious about this as it was hyped up to the max, but decided to give it a try. So glad I did!

It's like a literary string of pearls, with each of the fascinating vignettes being held together by an overarching narrative. There wasn't a single episode I didn't find fascinating.

The narration is great with all the characters, especially Death, really coming alive. I'm not normally a fan of writers who narrate their own stories, but Mr. Gaiman does a splendid job.

Eagerly looking forward to the next installment.

Brilliant little story

I originally feared this would be a depressing read, but it is actually very uplifting. Lovely little story, brilliantly read by Kevin Bacon, and, unlike a lit of short stories the ending is perfect. Kudos to the author for getting it so right.
