I thought this would be light and entertaining ….
Revisado: 02-03-22
I thought this would be light and entertaining, but it was way deeper and way more enjoyable than I expected. I highly recommend reading it …. But more so listening to it for the musical extras and his performance.

Historia
Can new language reshape our understanding of the past and expand the possibilities of the future? The Crime Without a Name follows Pitner’s journey to identify and remedy the linguistic void in how we discuss race and culture in the United States. Ethnocide, first coined in 1944 by Jewish exile Raphael Lemkin (who also coined the term “genocide”), describes the systemic erasure of a people’s ancestral culture.

Historia
Money - investing, personal finance, and business decisions - is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don’t make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together. In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money.

Great book!
Revisado: 09-16-20
I enjoyed this book a lot. It’s a reasonable take on personal finance and investing that I found myself agreeing with a lot. Even though it’s more abstract than prescriptive I found myself clarifying my own philosophy as I listened. I’ve already started recommending this to friends.

Historia
For the first time, Hillary Rodham Clinton reveals what she was thinking and feeling during one of the most controversial and unpredictable presidential elections in history. Now free from the constraints of running, Hillary takes you inside the intense personal experience of becoming the first woman nominated for president by a major party in an election marked by rage, sexism, exhilarating highs and infuriating lows, stranger-than-fiction twists, Russian interference, and an opponent who broke all the rules. This is her most personal memoir yet.

Exceeded Expectations
Revisado: 10-02-17
This is her most interesting book. I wish all Americans would read / listen to it but I would settle for all non-Trump supporters.
She has earned the right to tell her side of the story of what happened and listening to it makes you wish she had been more unchained during her run for President. This is a much better read than "Hard Choices" -- as most post political career books tend to be.
