8+ hours in a hospital

I'm only half way through and ready to quick. the pacing was OK and slow to start. though then it just nose dived off a cliff. it's been 8 hours of Stat blocks and him hanging out in a hospital. I paid for it and will finish it. it's just not what I expected after years of waiting. SMH

The only real criticism is that we are 60+ hours into the series, and we haven't even finished his first year of schooling. so an overall bit of a pacing issue for me. I am waiting years for only 2 months to pass in terms of overall pacing.

Heavy Romance, No real story.

The premise is good. The story and adventure could be amazing. Though it focuses heavily on the LGBTQ romance aspect and leaves everything to the wayside. it would skip ahead weeks of plot to get to more romance sections. I was 10 hours in before I gave up on no real action or adventuring. It hints at amazing plot lines but doesn't follow any through to satisfaction. If you're looking for LGBTQ romance, I recommend, even though poorly written. Though if you're an advanced reader and need a plot as well, I suggest you don't waste your time on a sunken cos that it will evenly get to the exciting part.

Random Harem theme

Nothing that sets this apart from any of the vlitrpg books. It takes all the most generic troupes and just amplifies them. As if its been auto generated by am ai. He is some awesome streaming living the dream. Gets a mysterious beta test device and gets telephoned into a game. Has not a single fight that theartens him. Then every girl that is hot, wants to have sex with him instantly. Because you know he's the mysterious chooses one. Had an hour left of the book and didn't finish it because my work shift ended and I could go home and find something better.

My only real hate, is the need to put the status of the dungeon at the end of every chapter. It occurred even when the dungeon had nothing to do with the chapter. It was even repeated when nothing changed in the dungeon. It only seemed like extra padding. Besides that it was a solid book. The ending of the book was underwhelming. It wasn't left on a nail biting cliffhanger; nor was it left on a solid resting point. It seemed to just end in the middle of a random chapter. Which was big let down. Also the cover shows him obtaining a golem form. Spoilers he does not achieve that form in this book.

I'm 8 books into the series to realize it's all just wow storylines. Worgen fighting undead, in a giant walled off city? elves on a separate continent fighting orcs to the south? a different plane like burning crusade fighting demons? spider dungeon from northerd? Then we have Black Rock depths, council of three, and molten core all mixed? it's literally all wow storylines.

Bender made unbearable

Struggling to finish the book because the benders character. He never has development and is just an annoying troupe of a character. I don't know why they decided to make him one of the more quoted characters, then harlequin and taking, but since they have its went downhill. The character didn't start out bad either, now he just says and does bullshit non stop, throughout the book. He has a heart to heart and it still doesn't change he's character its bad to the point that I want to give up on the series.

I loved it so much I have to see the play now. it was that amazing I came in thinking it was just a jazz podcast or Playlist. whe. I came out I was just amazed at the storytelling.
