not bad but it is not about roku he is a side character in this.
Revisado: 10-20-24
For a book about roku, it's less than 40% about him 60% of the story is taken up by a side character Who is nothing more than an easter egg and another side character who is entirely irrelevant because they die at end Is the secondary protagonist? So that's half the book right there Completely wasted Trying to make me Invested in a character that we have no reason to care about A book that's supposed to be about avatar roku Should be more about him being the Avatar and less about Airbenders weakminded Nearly Suicidally idiotic philosophy/mumbo jumbo I had enough of that in the last book there wasn't a single thing that was in this book That actually adds to the lore of Avatar roku at all Almost everything that is in this book we already knew happened And is there a single fictional island related trope You weren't going to use in this ? Or Did someone give you a checklist? I don't know whether you have some kind of restrictions from the writers of Avatar or something, but you've got to stop preaching This killing is a bad thing Motife in your books, it's childish and stupid Some people need to die because they will not stop doing horrible things until you put them in a hole in the ground Everyone talks about Kiyoshi being this blood thirsty Avatar, but we never actually got to see that in her books she kills like maybe 2 people And roku only kills 1 person who definitely deserved to die because he was trying to kill him for a ritual sacrifice to gain power to dominate the world. How was this a debatable thing that he had to die. People need to get off the High horse about that garbage especially the air Benders I doubt we're going to get any other Books in this series , but it would Be nice if we could have just one of these books that didn't constantly prattle On about air benders and their philosophy Real reason , all the airbenders that died during the coment was not due to anything other than their own stupidity , if they had any kind of military force whatsoever or hell just had Any kind of offensive styles whatsoever Maybe at least ten percent of you would still be alive. But I digress. This book is bad not because it's poorly written, but because it has almost nothing to do with the title character Whom is The entire reason I bought the book is so I could learn more about them instead of just the same things I already learned in the show With the bunch of superfluously unnecessary details thrown in to make it a book.

Good, but the first part of the book spends too much on time On irrelevant. side characters.
Revisado: 06-20-24
Really Good overall, just like the first third of the book is kind of filled with an unnecessary point of view from a federation embedded photographer, which adds nothing to the story. Feels a lot like filler.

what in the lazy half-baked hell ?
Revisado: 06-17-24
If you like this series don't listen to this book. It will ruin it for you. This is the laziest, most pathetic and straight up disrespectful ending to a series I have ever been given. I wasn't aware we were stealing. Story beats from scooby-doo mystery incorporated But apparently that's what's happening now Don't you just love it when a series ends with something That completely makes every single thing You've listened too for past seven books completely pointles. If I could give this a 0 out of 5 stars I would have. You can do better. I know you. I refuse to accept this quality of writing from People who have proven they are excellent writers It's lazy And disrespectful to your fanbase.

sound effects
Revisado: 03-12-24
This is a really good Experience, the only problem is it's really hard to hear what the people are saying to each other sometimes over all the random sound effects. I get it There's going to be a lot of background noise in the area there in But I would like to be able to hear what the hell is going on from time to Time it gets really Annoying Having to constantly rewind and listen to something 3 or 2 times to actually try peace together what they're trying to say over the noise Of a random piece of machinery or the rain Which randomly gets increased in volume when they're trying to talk to each other.

worst book in series
Revisado: 10-13-23
skip this book Halfway through, it gets derailed by a stupid hostage situation. Trope and it's the dumbest thing in the world. Writers really need to stop putting hostage situations in their stores because it's an example of bad writing. There are more intelligent ways you can create conflict And more interesting ways, too. The hostage Trope is in literally everything, and it bothers me so much. Just kill the person, just kill them. Just kill them, and there's no problem. I'm so sick and tired of writers having to manufacture so much made up and stuff. That would never realistically happen with people who have brains in order for these situations to happen in the first place. Like no I don't care. They are not going to successfully kidnap 3 of the main characters. Because of a writer wants to create some drama with the characters instead of actually advancing the plot forward, it's dumb It wastes time and contributes nothing to the overall plot. I genuinely don't even want to read the rest of these books. Because I know at least the next entire book is going to be useless and worthless. Because the entire book is going to be them getting the hostages back because they couldn't somehow do that in the last 4 hours of this one. Stop doing hostage situations It is an overused boring trope It's just a way for lazy writers to stretch a conflict That should have been resolved in 2 pages into something that somehow is a problem that takes a whole book to deal with is nonsense.

This Book is only good for the first half
Revisado: 06-05-23
The 1st 6 hours of this book are great and The final A couple of chapters are really good. But like almost the entire last half of the book has absolutely nothing to do with anything. It's just some tragic love story drama Garbage that we've all seen a million times before. That I'm not gonna lie is Just a bunch of predictable boring nonsense. That honestly feels like it just has nothing to do with the rest of the story. And it bugs me too because the first half of this book is really good But the last half honestly feels like a different book.

If you like kotor games never listen to this
Revisado: 10-10-22
if you like any of the kotor games don't listen to this book because it's written by somebody who very clearly doesn't like these games because if it was then it would have ended differently this has the single most unsatisfying dumbest and most underwhelming ending to any book I have ever heard in my life I genuinely hope the person who decided to end this book this way gets hit by a bus and what makes it even worse it's not even a bad book it's pretty good but it's just one that yeah just don't finish it just stop after five chapters before the end and then just never touch the book again I that way you get to enjoy the story without the ridiculously dumb ending that really really sucks like seriously who wrote this an insane person like there is no way that the person who wrote The End of This Book is the person who wrote the first 90% of it because the first 90% is actually pretty good the ending though just awfull I like the ending to Game of Thrones more than I liked this garbage ending.

there's no reason for the wife to be there literally she just needs to be sent back without hesitation when they said to do it and then there would have not been a problem and no I'm sorry there's just no reason for her to still be there you should have just left and then been out of the story because I'm going to be honest she's kind of irritating cuz if you are a girl and you think that's how relationships work you're just insane the whole point of being in a relationship is that your equal Partners not just the girl getting to decide every argument automatically so when you're both in danger and one of you has the ability to save the other don't be a self centered prick and argue just let them save you and now because she wouldn't just shut up and go back she's going to be in danger AKA giving the main character forced motivation to have to participate in your plot instead of giving them a natural motivation and also what year is this supposed to be taking place in because I'm sorry no way two fully grown adults working University jobs only make enough money to pay a hundred bucks a month for rent high school and Elementary School teachers don't get paid well but College professors and even College teaching assistants get paid like at least at $10 an hour there is no way they would not be able to afford a place for less than 200 a month what are they drug addicts where's all their money going only other place I could think of is like student loans but even then that's a little ridiculous and also never trust a scientist when they've just had a huge breakthrough and are still acting like they know what they're doing when they get an outcome that is nowhere close to the outcome that they were trying to get even if it's something that is revolutionary I mean seriously dude ever heard of the scientific method.

author had an aneurysm
Revisado: 01-23-22
there is literally no reason for the other members of the group to be taken out other than that stupid author decided that they did not want to have to deal with it and that's a lazy writing end of discussion he's literally spent the whole like five books of the series learning that he just needs to accept the help from the rest of his harem but then the last book he ditches half of them thats is BS .There is no acceptable reason in the book for it so what if they're going to have kids that's a problem for like 9 months from now not something that could stop them from participating in the finale of the series. if do you like this series stop at the previous book because they act like the main character wouldn't be dead without all of those other people there. these characters are not dead weight and the main character literally should have his ass kicked for even suggesting this by literally every member of his harem screw you and your lazy writing.
