Historia
Nel and Sula's devotion is fierce enough to withstand bullies and the burden of a dreadful secret. It endures even after Nel has grown up to be a pillar of the black community and Sula has become a pariah. But their friendship ends in an unforgivable betrayal—or does it end? Terrifying, comic, ribald and tragic, Sula is a work that overflows with life.

Outstanding!

My mother introduced me to Toni Morrison years before she passed away, one of the best literary gifts she could have ever given me. Toni Morrison is incomparable, and so is this book. I’m so glad they she had the opportunity to narrate her own books and tell the story in her own voice, so powerful!

Another great story by Moseley and again great narrator! Michael Boatman should narrate all of Moseley’s Easy Rawlings series. I would love to hear them all.

Historia
The police don't show up on Easy Rawlins's doorstep until the third girl dies. It's Los Angeles, 1956, and it takes more than one murdered black girl before the cops get interested. Now they need Easy. As he says: "I was worth a precinct full of detectives when the cops needed the word in the ghetto." But Easy turns them down. He's married now, a father -- and his detective days are over.

Historia
It's 1953 in Red-baiting, blacklisting Los Angeles, a moral tar pit ready to swallow Easy Rawlins. Easy is out of "the hurting business" and into the housing (and favor) business when a racist IRS agent nails him for tax evasion. Special Agent Darryl T. Craxton, FBI, offers to bail him out if he agrees to infiltrate the First American Baptist Church and spy on alleged communist organizer Chaim Wenzler. That's when the murders begin....

Loved the story, it was a great follow up from Devil In a Blue Dress. Also really loved the narrator, I wish he did other books that I’ve listened too that I felt the narration could have been more engaging.
