Disturbing....

This is one of those books that’s really fucked up, you know you should stop yet it is written in an alluring way and you can’t. I decided to read it because I loved the movie and got a little surprise. The movie is incredibly tame compared to this. It is vile, crude, disgusting and just a really great story. The book will test your limits for sure. I really enjoyed it but will definitely not read again.

Bleak, yet Amazing

What happens in this book is legitimately my biggest fear. My biggest fear in the hands of SK is horrifying and amazing. The book is so good. The ending is, in my opinion, SK’s bleakest to date. The narration was superb.

Sadly, not for me

I enjoyed the start of the book very much. Then it lost momentum. While listening all I could think was about The Martian. The book had the humor and okay characters but that was it and got bored very fast. I might give it another go in the future. As always amazing narration by Ray Porter.

What a Book!

Wow. Really good book. Bullying, high school years, teenage hormones, telekinesis and death. All of this done in the classic Stephen King fashion. Loved the book. Specially loved the fact that the original Carrie from the film released in 1976 narrated the book.

I Cried

This book is beautiful and heartbreaking. You'd never thing a book about death row inmates and a specific block of a jail would be so amazing. You feel like you're there, you know these characters, you feel what they feel. It was just amazing. I've never cried with a book or a movie, but I cried with this book and it made me love and appreciate it more.

Sweet Guilty Pleasure

I always go back to Kirsty Moseley when I want a sweet short romantic read. I won’t say her books are perfect or amazing, but they’re perfect for me for an in between read.

Another Masterpiece

I don't know how to express what I felt with this book. I laughed, I got tear eyed, I smiled to myself like an idiot, I got angry, and the list goes on. This book was an amazing experience. I felt like I knew every character, like I was there. I felt for them, I pitied them, hated them, and I loved them. The story is so compelling and grand I was sad when it ended. But most of all I loved the ending, it tugged at my heartstrings. Loving King more and more.

Really Good Introduction

If you've always wanted to know anything about astrophysics but did not want to read huge books or anything too complicated, this is the book for you. This is an amazing intro into the world of astrophysics by the amazing Neil deGrasse Tyson. Everything is sweet and short and straight to the point. The book does a really good job in keeping you interested. Of course we can't know everything in 4 hours, but that's what's amazing about this book. If you want to know some of the basics you'll learn them, but if you're interested in learning more it's the perfected intro into this world.

It was okay

I really wanted to like this book. It's my first Gaiman book and I gotta say I'm a little disappointed. The main character was so whiny, oblivious and stupid. The story itself is not terrible and one of the reasons I kept going. The other thing that really kept me going was Gaiman's narration, it was amazing. So amazing that he manages to capture Richard's cowardliness and other characteristics I found annoying. This is an amazing thing, but I hated the character so much it just made it worse.

Classic

The Godfather movie is just amazing. And as always the book is always better. The pacing, the characters, the drama, the twists. Just amazing. The full cast made it even better. Loved having some background on certain characters and what happened to their lives afterwards. This is definitely one of the best books people could read in their lifetime.
