Historia
It was a devastating triple punch. Capping their four-year campaign to destroy the Trump presidency, the media portrayed a Democratic victory as necessary and inevitable. Big Tech, wielding unprecedented powers, vaporized dissent and erased damning reports about the Biden family’s corruption. Rigged is the definitive account of the 2020 election. Based on Mollie Hemingway’s exclusive interviews with campaign officials, reporters, Supreme Court justices, and President Trump himself, it exposes the fraud and cynicism behind the Democrats’ historic power grab.

this is a work of spun fact and emotional hooks
Revisado: 10-15-22
If you already believe the premise... and are the type who simply believes stuff because someone with a loud voice said it and/or you are weak when it come to emotional baiting than you will probably feel like this book is a revelation and be further convinced of the book's premise. However, if you are not such a person than this book will probably depress you and cement your concern over the ignorant, gulable, fearful maga masses who now permeate the republican party. This is propaganda that will lead you right to the point of actual evidence and rational conclusion only to make a hard right turn into emotional appeal and fear baiting. ...which obviously works really well. As they say in conspiracy circles, "do the research". no, no... really do it. You'll find nothing there of substance. just more of the same.

With Kafka on the Shore, Haruki Murakami gives us a novel every bit as ambitious and expansive as The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle, which has been acclaimed both here and around the world for its uncommon ambition and achievement, and whose still-growing popularity suggests that it will be read and admired for decades to come.

Historia
It's past time for us to break down obstacles to success and education for people of color, to speak out against global social injustices, and to stop hiding behind the cliché, "I'm White, I can't speak out on the race". In our thoughts, acts, and words, we must be deliberately anti-racist. One of the numerous issues with racism is that it manifests itself in a variety of ways. It has institutional and structural roots, is based on colonial history, and has been passed down through the generations like an unsightly relic.

Historia
Twenty-five years ago, when Pat Robertson and other televangelists first spoke of the United States being a Christian nation that would build a global Christian empire, it was hard to take such hyperbolic rhetoric seriously. Today, such language no longer sounds like hyperbole but poses, instead, a very real threat to our freedoms and our way of life.

Historia
When smart-aleck, down-on-his-luck bounty hunter Anderson Gunn snags his next job, he’s just happy to get the gig. The target he’s chasing may be wanted for murder, but his bills aren’t going to pay themselves. As it turns out, he probably should've been more selective. When he tracks down Cameron Kovak, the wanted man turns out to be no man at all. Gunn finds himself face to face with a tentacled creature out of Ridley Scott’s worst nightmare - a baby Cthulhu, wearing his target's skin like a onesie. And that's just the start of it.

I really enjoyed this book and the performance. Herron keeps the story going and engaging. i love scifi and I love gritty cop stories. its hard to find scifi that doesn't get campy and boring. this did not. the performance was fantastic too!
