Ditch the narrator

Good information, but I would like to have heard it from Amit Sood directly. This narrator sounds like a robot. If you have heard Dr. Sood's TED Talk, you'll understand why this would sound better coming from him. There are many good techniques offered here, some science to back it up, and a lot of philosophical advice. That's why it really needs to come from a personal perspective of the author and that doesn't come across here.

Well written and interesting but

I enjoyed most of the writing and gained a lot from it. I love how the author weaves in poetry and literature. One reason I did not rate this as a 5 is the narration, which I found to be very slow and tedious. The other reason is the comparative lists of what's something or is not are overly simplistic. Almost nothing in this world is black and white.

Wow, what a bunch of self-indulgent millennial drivel. I tried hard but couldn't get past chapter 10. I had high hopes because I usually like coming of age stories and was a late bloomer myself. but I don't need to listen to repeated droning about who she slept with and what clothes she wore to a club.

the vocal performance absolutely ruins the book

the author introduces the book of the dedication at the beginning. too bad she didn't stick with it and read the rest of the book. then the vocal t!lent comes in and ruins the experience. absolutely terrible. sounds like she has a cold or a stuffed up nose and can't breathe. the author should get her money back. I can't listen to this

it was really awesome to have Sinead O'Connor read her book. It was honest and raw and like having a conversation with her or hanging out with her. Hearing her thought process about everything is incredible -- such a deep thinker. The book could have used some editing, but I don't think she would have that. Most importantly, this story is out in the world, helping people get to know this fascinating, loving, empathic human being and her music.

Some great information but randomly organized

There are a couple of really good gems in here. The information on marriages/coupleships, bidding, and expressing feelings is fantastic. However I found the chapter on personality systems to be just a random theory and not very helpful or memorable. And the last two chapters on friendship and work relationships seem like common sense.
