ugh! what can I say

it was pretty good. it would be GREAT fantastic even! had it not come across as super annoying at times. I mean MAN how much CAN you protest? how far can you take it without delivering an orgasm? JESUS! that grated my nerves for sure. its like we're on chapter 20!! and they've barely done anything! in fact it was getting WORSE!! uggh I'm afraid to try the next book I really don't want it to be the same formula BUT I seem to be having trouble finding a happy medium... something like the early BDB. I wish I hadn't started with those because I had no idea they would be what I compared everything else to lol.

I actually started with azagoth and THOSE were freaking AWESOME! but this one had me skipping chapters and rolling my eyes at times.. man she was just so freaking emotional and resistant the whole time and I get it tragic past, world is turned upside down... but man! sorta annoying

omg this whole series has been AWESOME!! I first started my audible journey with dark romances... I quickly stumbled upon BDB, which was an EPIC BINGE! I thought it was going to be hard to beat (which was correct...) until I got into the Lords of the Underworld series, that was pretty good albeit a little hit and miss. THEN I found this series, and I'm so glad I did! this was just as awesome and I think hunter has been my favorite thus far. watching his character develop was totally worth it! like others have said, I wish there was a LITTLE bit more focus on the couple, but I get it that the plot has to develop and this IS nearing the end. great suspense and cliffhanger there at the end. I highly recommend this series!

like someone else said, I didn't peg andreas as a great "hero", but I was pleasantly surprised!
he is actually super strong! my only gripe is, and has been the last few books, WHATS UP whered that SIZZLE from books 1 and 3 go???? ughhhh the love scenes were SCORTCHING in those 2 books! I am waiting for more of that! I want hard-core action AAAAND LOVIN'S!!
I felt like this one in particular she skidded past all the details when it came to the sex scenes 😢
I'm hoping she brings back the PASSION in the next ones because the plot sure is heating up, but it has to valance each other out or else I start to get bored, and then I start skipping chapters... idk last I checked this was PNR, AND erotica!!

I even cried! I completely identified with the mother daughter relationship and cried at the end because I felt like my mom would have done the same thing, for sure. this one was better writing, im glad I stuck it out and kept listening when I almost gave up with the last one

this is my 3rd series, first was BDB, then LotU, and now I'm trying to cram in these to squeeze out as much as I can before the Escape Package ends next month.... it was good, I dont know about GREAT but I enjoyed it for the most part. I will do 1 more and see if I get "hooked" by then, if not I will be frantic to find another series to indulge as much as possible before this sadly comes to an end!

I was SO excited about legion and galens story that I literally stopped halfway through darkest seduction, to skip ahead and listen to this! LOL! since I have NO problem with spoilers, I just couldn't help myself once I figured out that there was actually something between them I couldn't wait!
it didn't disappoint BUT, this installment of the lords was SIGNIFICANTLY CORNY! its cheese-ball factor was just outrageous at some points which I figured, because its a novella it moves a little faster with pacing so its understandable but I feel like galen was a tad bit out of character by falling so hard so fast and becoming such a......
nothing wrong with it, I was very entertained it was just a bit cheesy haha

I'm glad i didn't skip it as I almost did after reading so.e of the reviews on it being horrible, which it definitely was NOT! Yes it is similar to the last few ones but I still loved it none the less. I would recommend it to anyone who has also enjoyed the previous ones. don't listen to what so.e of those reviews were saying because it was still really enjoyable!
