Historia
Michael Pollan, known for his best-selling nonfiction audio, including The Omnivores Dilemma and How to Change Your Mind, conceived and wrote Caffeine: How Caffeine Created the Modern World as an Audible Original. In this controversial and exciting listen, Pollan explores caffeine’s power as the most-used drug in the world - and the only one we give to children (in soda pop) as a treat.

Pleasurable
Revisado: 01-06-21
This was a very interesting crash course in the history, use and physiological effects of caffeine written in a rather investigative and journalistic approach that was rather fun. I am disapointed that there was no notable conclusion. I guess he left it up to the reader or in this case the listener to draw their own conclusions based on the facts and experiences he presented, which after all is quite all right. I disagree with his evolutionary perspective however was not overwhelmed by any of what seemed to be his personal opinions. Overall a very pleasurable experience and I would recommend this to others.

Glory to God for the men of old who endured the persecutions of this world with joy and faith. Much can be learned from those who have looked death in the face and yet remained true to the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.

Christian perfection - what is it? Many have debated the topic through the centuries, and yet, it is still an object of deep focus within many circles in the body of Christ. John Wesley has in A Plain Account of Christian Perfection beautifully described Christian perfection in a way that is practical and smart. A truly challenging book that will reveal areas of potential growth and maturity - even in the most advanced believer.

not what I initially expected. I thought it would be about doing everything perfectly to get God's favor or just talking about sinlesness the whole time but it was actually refreshing .
