Historia
Carrie Soto is fierce, and her determination to win at any cost has not made her popular. But by the time she retires from tennis, she is the best player the world has ever seen. She has shattered every record and claimed twenty Grand Slam titles. And if you ask Carrie, she is entitled to every one. She sacrificed nearly everything to become the best, with her father, Javier, as her coach. A former champion himself, Javier has trained her since the age of two.

I cant decide how I feel!?!
Revisado: 12-07-22
I'm truly split on my thoughts about this book. often dry at times, yet I found myself wanting to know what was next. I think the narration helped tremendously in keeping my interest. It is not her best work and wouldn't be on my list of recommendations, but as a fan it was an ok read.

Historia
Between school events and teaching spin classes, Jen finds herself fully immersed in sports mom competitiveness. These parents seem perfectly unassuming, until their kids start to wrestle, and they become raging pubescent monsters. Learning to navigate this new world while fielding calls from the principal because of Max’s newfound misogynistic behavior, Jen steels herself for the indignities of middle-school life—with her loyal spin class attendees and her bossy four-year-old granddaughter giving her the strength she needs to press on.

I think this is it for this series
Revisado: 09-19-22
I've read this entire series and I think (hope) this is the last one. Her writing is amusing and it's an easy listen, but at this point, it's been done. I don't think I would look forward to another in this series

Historia
The correspondence between Carrie Allsop and David Mayer reveals, piece by piece, the painful details of a devastating affair between their spouses. With each commiserating scratch of the pen, they confess their fears and bare their souls. They share the bewilderment over how things went so wrong and come to wonder where to go from here. Told entirely through the letters of two comforting strangers and those of two illicit lovers, Evidence of the Affair explores the complex nature of the heart. And ultimately, for one woman, how liberating it can be when it’s broken.

It’s peak tourist season in Eternity Springs, and Dana Delaney has her hands full running her ice cream parlor, Scoops. The last thing she needs is for her star employee to fall sick, but she’s in luck when a newcomer to town offers to fill in...and the fact that he’s sinfully handsome with a sexy Scottish accent is an added treat.

Cute, lighthearted read
Revisado: 07-25-22
Cute, easy listen. Definitely some cringey scenes, like her cutsey curse words, but overall ok. I had a problem with the male narrator. Didn't enjoy his accent and hated his female impersonation.

I have exactly 5 hours and 10 minutes to get from Boston to New York City or the professional opportunity of a lifetime disappears. My only travel option? The second to last seat on a discount bus. Across from the bathroom. Wearing last night’s clothes (don’t ask). All worth it if I can make it in time.

Enjoyable story, questionable audio
Revisado: 07-15-22
This was a cute story, but I can't decide how I feel about the recording style. At times, the scripted conversation and sound effects were more cringe than enjoyable. I think I would have preferred this with a regular narrator and my imagination.

Historia
Nora Stephens' life is books—she’s read them all—and she is not that type of heroine. Not the plucky one, not the laidback dream girl, and especially not the sweetheart. In fact, the only people Nora is a heroine for are her clients, for whom she lands enormous deals as a cutthroat literary agent, and her beloved little sister Libby.

Not believable
Revisado: 05-19-22
It was a struggle to get through this, esp after enjoying so many of the authors other titles. I wasn't engaged in the story until the final 2 hours. I never felt the characters had a strong connection as the story leads you to believe, but it was interesting to see how the plot connected.

Storyline was flat
Revisado: 03-22-22
If I was reading this (opposed to an audiobook), I don't think I would have gotten through it. I've read other titles by this author and have enjoyed it, but this just fell flat. there was no major plot ot twist. From an audio perspective, there was no differentiation between characters, so it was a bit confusing at times. I wouldn't recommend this to a friend.
