I WAS LAUGHING AS MUCH AS LOVING CRISTO AND GRUMPY

I have read and listened to several of T.L. Sean's books and loved every one. I was excited when this was came out and I think it is my favorite! I love to listen to these books in Kindle Unlimited Read and Listen!

CJ Bloom and Sebastian York did a fantastic job narrating the alternating POVs of Christopher Miles and Hayden Whitmore. These two couldn't be more different yet both are searching for something as they take a 12 month sabbatical and meet in a hostel in Spain. With 4 other unlikely companions, they travel and have the most fun and craziest adventures ever! I didn't like Christopher, or Cristo, as he was called, at first because he was such a player, but as he fell for Hayden, (Grumpy) he actually did change. I spent as much time laughing as I did swooning over his over the top antics! Their little group became a family! And Eddie stole my heart just as he stole Cristo's and Hayden's!

This funny and romantic story will keep your attention until the last page! FIVE GRUMPY STARS!

PAST ACTIONS BRING EMOTIONAL CONSEQUENCES!

This audio book was narrated so good! I loved the voices of John Lane and Maxine Mitchell, they did an excellent job of portraying the emotions in this book!

We all thought that The Contract Series was done, but nothing is ever "done" with Melanie. Her characters are like family that are ever present and forever popping up in another book as well as in our minds and hearts💕 . Truth. And, well Richard and his family are always in the BAM and ABC series. But this 3rd book (actually the 4th) caught us all by surprise because of the total WHAM Factor it delivered!

Richard and Katy are the perfect couple NOW. Of course we know they most definitely weren't in the beginning if you read The Contract #1. Life can be so good, but there is always a chance your past can pop up and surprise you. Especially if you have a past like Richard's, one that he is not at all proud of. The past can rear it's ugly head but yet, if you look closely, there can sometimes be an uncut diamond underneath. It's how you handle that diamond that determines the course of your life and others. Richard has to prove he has genuinely changed into the man he has professed and presented to everyone.

I loved this book. There are no heroes or villains. Just humans trying to forge their way through some difficult and trying times and come out better than they were before. And Melanie has done a remarkable job, making us cry, laugh, and melt inside with the love this VanRyan family has. Fantastic book but keep the tissues handy! There is also a wonderful romance happening amidst all the turmoil. Gotta love life!

NOTE: I read this on Radish, and if you did, too, this has some extra that was not in it on that site. Worth the second or third read!

WONDERFUL FRIENDS TO ENEMIES TO LOVERS STORY!

Arya Roth and Nicholai Ivanov come from two different worlds but teenagers see the world with innocent eyes. Unlikely friends, they forge a bond that tragically is broken by their parents and severed even deeper by their lies and deception. Neither knows the real truth.

When they are reunited years later during a ruthless court trial involving Arya's father, Nicholai has become Christian Miller, dashing, rich as Midas, and hell bent on revenge against the Roths. Finding out all that Nicky had gone thru in the years since that tragic day broke my heart. Especially his mother!

As all truths are revealed and passion has exploded between them, they have to figure out how to handle their relationship and the family that has shown their true colors and fallen from grace. Arya finding out that her childhood was full of lies and how wrong she was about her parents. The ending was everything even though I think her father got away too easy.

I listened to the Audible version of this book in kindle unlimited and it was very good! The narration was performed by Joe Arden and Stella Bloom. It was lovely to listen to and I appreciate that I can listen while I work. I really enjoy the Read and Listen books available on KU!

TWISTED CLUSTER THAT WILL LEAVE YOU BEFUDDLED!

This mysterious story is about Sara and Jacob, who are followers of The Light, a cult run by Father Gabriel. Sara wakes up in the hospital with no memory at all. She has a broken leg, her eyes are bandaged shut, and some other internal and external injuries. Jacob informs her they are married and she must learn a complete set of subservient rules or risk getting punished for every infraction. And she did get punished, several times. I had some trouble with these parts of the book, it was so cruel and uncomfortable for me to read. I liked the other POV section better.

Stella Montgomery is an investigative journalist and she is looking for her fellow reporter that went missing a few weeks ago. She thinks it is connected to The Light cult she has discovered as well as women's bodies that are turning up around the city. The more she digs, the more she uncovers, more links click together. But there are many forces at work here and everyone is not who they say they are! The cliffhanger at the end had my jaw hanging open and more than one OMG moment for the surprises unveiled! I can't wait for the next book!

HEARTBREAKINGLY SWEET

This wonderful tale of love and loss, of survival and existing, of sacrifice and tolerance is one that will touch you in places deep within. It took me back to my childhood when you leaped off bridges to save puppies without a second thought. I still might do it, not sure.

Abby is a very smart, sensitive 13 year old with an old soul. She has had to grow up way too fast due to her home situation. Her mother Mary is her comrade and they rely on each other. The friendship Abby forms with Elliott is like watching a garden spider build a delicate and intricate web. It's fragile but beautiful and much stronger when it is finished. Mary becomes wrapped in the little cocoon created by Abby, the puppies, and Elliott. As Elliott falls in love with the seven perfect things, he finds he can laugh and smile again. You will laugh and cry as you journey through life with these realistic characters with all too vulnerable emotions and messy lives. You will emerge from the cocoon a delicate butterfly.

This book was amazing! John and Melanie did an amazing job narrating this wonderful story by Melanie Moreland! I have read all of this series of BAM by her and this is the first of ABC which is a continuation/spinoff of that series.

The voices were the perfect accompiament to Jaxson and Grace. Their tale of Office Romance, Age Gap, Lovers to Enemies, Angst, and twisty turns was one I couldn't put down!

If you haven't read this book yet, I recommend you read it now or LISTEN TO IT! You can jump on in even if you haven't read the others, it is a standalone. There are just other people in the book that you will know if you have read the previous books! So jump in! You will want to read the others! I promise you this!!
