Disappointing

i had gret expectations knowing thw writer but the story line is poor. I learned more on the writer cv that was weaven in the plot (probably for credibility purposes) but the story itself wasn't engaging and the end point wasn't mentioned during the plot. It came out of the blue. Even the cleaver detective couldn't bring it to a credible level.
The preformance though was superb.

Engaging story. Full of humor and well built characters. The narration is superb, fluent and natural. Each and every character has his own voice. This was still the feeling after listening the second and third time.

This book is a joy from cover to cover. Abby Cradon is at her best narrating this book. Bringing out each character in a unique way. The story is compelling. I found myself laughing out loud listening to the back and forward of Tori and Sam buntters.

without a doubt the narrator of this book is making the experience of listening to a higher level.
The story itself is well written and the witty dialogues of the first half of the book are pure pleasure .

Great narrator elevates a great story

Narration can ruin the experience of a book or make it great. A great story teller as Melissa Brandon deserve a great narrator and for this book she got one. Mellisa Sternberg does a superb work in reading this book. Listening was effortless. The moving from character to another felt so natural. There was no point during the listening that I needed figure out who is talking.

The narration made it hard to follow the plot. Redcliffe deserves better narrator. Or that will be able to bring to life the quality of the written story.

Great Story

After listening to this book, it sounds like Carson Taite was aiming on writing an episode for the T.V. show Scandal. It came out great. Great suspense story with precise rhythm until the last note. I read most of Carson Taite books, for me this one is the best so far. The narration was descent enough.

Another case of narrator killing a good story

so annoyed with myself for letting myself buy a book because I love Redclyffe writing and ignoring the reviews on the narration. The narrator was out of touch with the story and the characters. no one speak like that in real life. the reading is super slow as if she struggles with the English. Bummer!!!!!

Great narration

after listening to hundreds of books and enjoy lesbian literature, I learned to appreciate a good narrator. No matter how good a book is, a narrator can give you either a good experience or disappointing one. In this occasion I think the narration added value to the story and elevated it.
