I loved this from the beginning to the end. So very rarely do I listen to or read a book and have a smile on my face the entire time. The narrator was fantastic. A great performance!

Another enjoyable and sadly the last of the witches series

I so enjoyed this story and once again the narrator(s) took me further into the story than my mind would have. Now to choose the next line of Disc World stories to enjoy. Wish Indira could have done them all.

Wonderful start

This was my first book into the Disc World and it was a great start. Indira’s narration was superb and completely immersed me into the story. On to Wyrd Sisters with the same narrator.

All star hit!

Fun and enjoyable holiday story. I enjoyed how much of it was told through the yearly holiday letters. Makes one wonder what’s really happening behind the scenes of the letters received each year. Great performance by all involved. The songs performed by Ms LaPone were wonderful as expected.

I couldn’t listen to narrator’s version of the son’s voice

Another reviewer aptly summed it up. It was a poor choice to use the voice the narrator did for Todd. It’s the “typical” voice that school yard bullies use when teasing someone with developmental disabilities or neurodiversity. Not everyone who isn’t neurotypical sounds like their nose is plugged up and has a slur. I was so very disappointed. Hopefully this book can be redone with a different voice for Todd. The narrator’s voice is very smooth and perfect for this book but it was a bad call to differentiate his voice like that.
I did read the book instead and it is a lovely story which made the Audible version so disappointing. The made for tv movie is nice too.
Do better. Please.

Bittersweet and Heartbreaking

I found myself getting teary through the whole story (don’t let that deter you), most of the tears were for the sweetness of many of the relationships that Kia builds in her aloneness. I love it.
The narrator was perfect for the story. Great performance.

Excellent little mystery, Fantastic narrator

This is my first, but not my last, Liane Moriarty book. I really enjoyed it. It kept me guessing all the way through. The narrator’s performance really drew me in and helped me be invested in all of the characters (the story did that as well). Highly recommend!
