Mental Health and Comic book heroes
Revisado: 08-14-20
Bates wrote a wonderful primer on mental health using Marvel and DC characters. The narrator was good for the most part. An audio editor to cut out mistakes would have improved the narration. Also, some direction on pronunciation would have made Mutt Rogers’ narration 5 stars.

Couldn’t put it down
Revisado: 10-12-19
Similar to “Educated,” it is a book you can’t put down. Heartbreaking. Compelling. Worth the read.

Historia
Kate Bowler is a professor at Duke Divinity School with a modest Christian upbringing, but she specializes in the study of the prosperity gospel, a creed that sees fortune as a blessing from God and misfortune as a mark of God's disapproval. At 35, everything in her life seems to point toward "blessing". She is thriving in her job, married to her high school sweetheart, and loves life with her newborn son. Then she is diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer.

Amazing book, changed volume throughout
Revisado: 08-04-19
This book is incredible and well worth the read but I will say I had to change the volume every time I thought she was going to yell because she can be loud when trying to articulate someone being upset, and it hurt my ears.
