Yes. Very romantic!
What other book might you compare Cold-Hearted Rake to and why?

When Devon was in the train accident and decided that he needed to see Kathleen again but he needed to save others in the wreak first even if it meant his death.
Any additional comments?
It took me a while to get used to the narrator Ms. Mary Jane Wells, but she is now right up there with one of my favorite narrators Ms. Rosalyn Landor.

Typicle Story Line in the Series
Revisado: 08-08-14
Would you consider the audio edition of The Ideal Man to be better than the print version?
Have not read the print version.
What did you like best about this story?
Can't really say as it just fell in line with the story of that last 5 books before it in the series. Boy there to protect girl, girl falls in love with boy that can't be attached due to his job then boy realizes he is in love with girl when possible tragedy could separate them forever.....
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
maybe improve accents....just not a lot of emotion there.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No! It took me longer to read as I was so bored, I listened to 2 other books by another author before I finally finished this one.
Any additional comments?
I am a huge fan of Julie Garwood but am just so disappointed in the "Contemporary" series. Every story is the same but takes place in a different town with a different type of professional female damsel in distress story line that just ends up being the same. I loved her Medieval, Regency and Western books from long ago and have listened to them more than once but these stories are just not as captivating. I keep trying to give this line the benefit but......

Not as good as Book 1
Revisado: 08-08-14
What did you like best about For All Time? What did you like least?
I did like the story line of Toby being able to tell the difference between twin brothers and the whole mystery of it, however, the entire love story fell flat. It wasn't until the end that the love story was finally gaining speed and the story was over. Not as captivating and interesting as Book I of the Nantucket Brides Series. Only read it once cause it just did not keep my interest. Usually I read Ms. Deveraux's books more than once but was ready to return this one after only one read. Too Bad.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
Take away the boredom of the story.
Which scene was your favorite?
The end when they finally got together.
Was For All Time worth the listening time?
No, unfortunately. I just wanted to get to the end as quickly as possible so I could purchase another book by another author!
Any additional comments?
Hopefully Book 3 in the series will be much better as I waited hungrily for Book 2. I enjoyed Book 1 so much and listened to it more than once.

Loved the story. It is an extremely charming.
Revisado: 05-23-14
If you could sum up For the Roses in three words, what would they be?
Lovely, charming & historical
What other book might you compare For the Roses to and why?
Any of the early Julie Garwood Highland stories. They have a lot of history of the land, customs.
What three words best describe Mikael Naramore’s performance?
English fine, Highland Awful!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Loved how the boys became a family and decided to take care of Mary Rose. Loved how Mary Rose took care of Cora.
Any additional comments?
It's hard to listen to a male voice for female roles. I think I would have enjoyed listening to a lower voiced female as well as someone that had a better Highland accent. This narration of the Highland accent sometimes sounded French or Spanish. It just sounded odd.
