Historia
Howard Hughes lived a life that was quintessentially American, and his personal history was so varied, improbable, and extraordinary that he practically resembled a living folk hero. Hughes was barely in his 20s during America's Roaring Twenties, but he had already begun to command the nation's headlines as a multitalented millionaire, and the varied pastimes that his talents and wealth afforded him made him nearly impossible to ignore.

Well-written and Masterfully Acted by James Romick...
Revisado: 01-09-19
With 20-years and almost 600 books later on Audible as an avid listener, I've grown to appreciate excellent narration.
James Romick is indeed the epitome of that.
Trained actors make the best spoken word preformers and make or break a good listen.
I've seen Romick on stage on Broadway in 'The Phantom' and was pleased when I rediscovered him on Audible.
I've also read, listened to, and watched everything I could find on Howard Hughes.
HH is iconic and tragic Americana.
This audiobook tome on his life is jam-packed with new information about his story that I haven't heard anywhere else.
I highly recommend this well-written and masterfully acted audiobook.

You're going to wish you never got this audiobook. Some facts are too terrifying to teach in school. Unfortunately, Cracked.com is more than happy to fill you in. Think you're going to choose whether or not to buy this book? Scientists say your brain secretly makes all your decisions 10 seconds before you even know what they are.

Funny as a crack baby, A ZOMBIE CRACK BABY!!!
Revisado: 04-24-16
okOkOK!
There's nothing funny about crack babIes.
Those watery, hollow eyes.
The unending plaintive howls of 9th Circle of Hell mental torture (the Cania region, to be precise).
And that whole 'no hope for the future' thing.
But there is plenty funny about this narration by Johnny Heller of the spawn and spew ejaculating from the Gen Z minds of the twisted bastards that moved into the abandoned anti-literary publishing void left by the demise of my 2nd favorite subversive boyhood magazine... no, dummy, not Boys Life, no, not MAD Magazine...
CRACKED magazine, you idiot!
What was my 1st favorite, you ask?
What else?
ZAP Comics, of course... but all this explaining is starting to annoy me and make me want to bite the next thing in my way, please go away now..
...and, "You, damn kids! Get off my lawn fer Christsakegoddammit!!!"
Gggggggrrrrrrrr-chomp- "mmmMmmMMM!"... "me like tasty baby brains" -chomp-
