There are lot of cultures that have talked about the existence of some Reptilian beings considered as gods: The Anunnaki. There are many evidences and traces left by these beings in our history. Ancient inhabitants indicated and represented these gods in their paintings, written documents, and above all, in their buildings which are currently impossible to replicate. Their technological knowledge and universe awareness had influence in our history…even until now....

Where to begin?
The writing is fraught with horrible grammar, poor sentence structure, misuse of vocabulary, and more.
There is no documentation. None. Ideas are not presented as ideas. Rather all is represented as fact by way of rambling and incoherent storytelling.
And the reader … As others have stated, the style is as if reading to young children. That’s being kind. She has poor diction, poor pronunciation and does not seem to understand phrasing.
Right about the time I heard the repeated use of “axed” for “asked” I knew I’d had enough.
Audible used to be better than this.

One of those rarities. Style, substance and execution come together in near perfection. I finished this book a couple of weeks ago. Despite having taken in two more perfectly good "reads" since, the dreamlike memory of The Night Circus lingers and pervades.

Did I read the same book as some of you?

Who are you? And, what have you done with Crichton

No - I'm not a hard-core global warming enthusiast. I'm not a hard-core anything, really. And, I have until now always enjoyed Crichton's yarns. But, this piece of one sided propaganda fails at every level.
Usually, one has the impression that MC has just enough scientific research behind his work to inform a really good story. But, here - all that one can clearly discern is that he has a heaving bucket full of poorly written tripe.
If that's not enough ... I will never, ever listen to anything read by George Wilson. Previous posts re the sounds of his bodily functions have been overly polite. Both George and the producer of this offering should be let go.
