Historia
Fourteen-year-old Ozzy lives near Portland, Oregon, and is desperate for help. His scientist parents have been kidnapped after discovering a formula that enables mind control. Their work was so top secret that Ozzy is afraid to go to the police, but without help, he fears he'll never find his parents. Then he stumbles across a classified ad in the local newspaper that says "Wizard for Hire. Call 555-SPEL." Ozzy has read about wizards in books like Harry Potter, but wizards couldn't exist today, could they? After Ozzy meets the wizard Labyrinth - a.k.a. Rin - he's even more skeptical.

Fantastic

This series is so good. I enjoy the slow burn of these books. This one definitely had a little more action than the previous. The people that read these books aloud really make this story come alive. Love it! Can’t wait for the next one to come out in October.

Historia
Miss Ada Quicksilver, a student of London's Lovelace Academy for Promising Young Women, is spending her holiday in Ireland to pursue her anthropological study of fairies. She visits Dublin's absinthe bars to investigate a supposed association between absinthe and fairy sightings. One night a handsome Irishman approaches her, introducing himself as Edward Donoghue. Edward takes absinthe to relieve his sleepwalking. She discovers that he's the earl of Meath, and that he will soon visit a mysterious ruin. On learning about Ada's area of study, he invites her to accompany him.

Enjoyable read

Decent, non-cringeworthy reading voices. Very descriptive, but definitely not boring. Enjoyed this book very much. I love anything to do with fae and this author hits spot on with mythology and romance. I felt like I was in the mind of the two characters.
