Historia
William Waters grew up in a house silenced by tragedy, where his parents could hardly bear to look at him, much less love him—so when he meets the spirited and ambitious Julia Padavano in his freshman year of college, it’s as if the world has lit up around him. With Julia comes her family, as she and her three sisters are inseparable: Sylvie, the family’s dreamer, is happiest with her nose in a book; Cecelia is a free-spirited artist; and Emeline patiently takes care of them all.

The Narrator was HORRIBLE!!!
Revisado: 07-30-23
It was hard to hear what was being said because the Narrator was so HORRIBLE!!! He's got a beautiful voice, but his intonation was pathetic like he's talking down to you like you're a precious stupid child.
I tried my best to look past it, to hear what was being said. But at chapter 15, I just couldn't take it anymore, so I threw in the towel. Listening to him isn't being kind & loving to yourself & the ripple effect on others isn't good.
I am totally grateful I didn't pay more for the audio than I did. Now I understand why it wasn't more expensive like Robin's other books.

Historia
No longer tolerating her husband’s borderline abuse, Faith escapes to her parents’ California beach house to plan her next move. She never dreamed her new chapter would involve befriending Sarah, a fourteen-year-old on the run from her father and reeling from her mother’s sudden and suspicious death. While Sarah’s grandmother scrambles to get custody, Faith is charged with spiriting the girl away on a journey that will restore her hope: Sarah implores Faith to take her to Falkner’s Midnight Sun, the prized black mare that her father sold out from under her.

Fantastic Story, INCREDIBLE Narrator!!!
Revisado: 07-16-23
It was a beautiful story!!! It flowed, & I couldn't stop listening. Didn't even stop when it was time to sleep.... just had to finish it.
I love Catherine's books!!! They're clean, no sex, violence, profanity. just good wholesome books!!!
She is the only novel author, that I've listened to many many of her books.
I love that she doesn't skimp on narrator's. They're the ones that will make or break the story, or even make you ever listen again.
Another GREAT book, by Catherine Ryan Hyde!!! And INCREDIBLE Narrator

Historia
A guy who rejects or breaks up with you should no longer exist in your life. Contacting him or allowing him to stay in touch with you will make you work harder and harder to convince him that you’re worth his love and attention, and it will compel you to play that ugly and unwinnable game called Chase-a-Man. The best way to avoid this ugly game and break his spell over you is to cut the guy off (cease all communications and interactions) for a set period of time, or in some cases, keep him cut off out of your life indefinitely.

A Lot of Food for Thought
Revisado: 12-02-22
Just what I needed. AND, I'd like a book written toward the older (60+) group. There are more good women available then there are good men chasing.
Anyway, this book but the fire under my feet to get moving on & quit kicking a dead horse.
I also appreciated the low price ticket for this audio book.
It is a GREAT book!!!

Historia
"Who am I becoming?" That was the question nagging pastor and author John Mark Comer. Outwardly, he appeared successful. But inwardly, things weren’t pretty. So, he turned to a trusted mentor for guidance and heard these words: "Ruthlessly eliminate hurry from your life. Hurry is the great enemy of the spiritual life." It wasn’t the response he expected, but it was - and continues to be - the answer he needs. Within this audiobook, you’ll find a fascinating road map to staying emotionally healthy and spiritually alive in the chaos of the modern world.

Revisado: 10-18-20
I didn't realize it was of a spiritual nature & was TOTALLY THRILLED, when I heard it was.
it was very uplifting & instilled joy & possibility that I could improve my life through improving myself. I will listen again & again so I can get my most desirable outcome.
Praise God for the writers & for making it an audible so those without time to read, can listen!!!

Narration is HORRIBLE!!!
Revisado: 06-08-20
This is the worst narration ever!!!
Her intonation is off a 100% of the time.... she is HORRIBLE!!!
The story line is GREAT, but the narrator destroys the desire to carry on & listen. Her voice is a pleasant one, she may be good for children's story telling, but listening to her with this book stresses me out!!!
I will NEVER listen to a book she narrates again!!!

The Most INCREDIBLE Audio EVER!!!
The Narrator deserves an Academy Award; her performance was IMPECCABLE!!! It truly felt like she was the real person relaying her story, with all the emotion that person would truly have.
The story line was written perfectly for the narrator.
I will look for this Author & Narrator again; it was just PERFECT!!!

Just a dang good book to listen to. Helped pass the time while hand pulling an acre of weeds.
I like that it was good & wholesome; that the trauma experienced was lightly expressed so the reader wasn't traumatized.

The only thing good about this audio was the narration. She never learned a thing from her mother, but experienced a life of h e l l.
