Intelligent, Timely, Sincere, with Humor!

Al Franken has a tremendous way with words, a great memory, and a good storytelling ability. If you are interested, even a little bit, with Washington Politics today, you have got to take the time to read this book, but better yet, listen to his audiobook of it, narrated by Al, himself. It is with deep regret that I acknowledge that he is, appropriately, facing negative feedback from some of the outrageous behaviors in his past. So be it. Women, are NOT to be demeaned, EVER! He needs to take his lumps. But do not let THAT reality keep you away from this Amazing ‘true’ reflection of not only the US SENATE but Trump & Trumpism.
Even if properly chastised, we NEED voices AND VOTES like Al’s, if we are ever going to get thru this period of history for our country, as intact as possible.
And Al, if you’re eventually reading this, you might want to set-up a special Foundation.
Set it up to really Educate the Publc, and when I say that, I mean the Male Public, AND to encourage and counsel women, not only to come forward, but to challenge this disgusting behavior, by mostly men, as it occurs. If you’re REALLY smart, you’ll ask that young lady who outed you to be the Executive Director Of the thing, or if she is not able to do that, than ask her to be the organizations first President. And let HER hire the Director and the rest of the staff. You probably should front it with at least $1 million of your own money(like the royalties from this great book) and get your friends to pony up, at least another million, to get it started. Then, every year, yes, every year, you can help with it’s on-going fundraising. THIS is the kind of example a REAL LION of the Senate would set.
I, and many, many, others have really have looked up to you Al. I don’t live in Minnesota, but I have a daughter, and WE REALLY NEED TO CHANGE THE MINDSET with this. You can’t do it ALL by yourself, but, you can give it a Hell Of a Start. History, is watching Al. Time to Man-Up, and makes us proud...again. Best Wishes.
