Historia
At 43, Ninya was depressed, out of shape, and filled with crippling anxiety after addiction, cancer, and divorce had destroyed nearly everything. One day, she received a message from a stranger. This woman offered to lead her on a self-healing trip hiking through the Scottish highlands. In this memoir, an introverted Pollyanna is paired up with her opposite, a steamrolling, abrasive female with unorthodox healing methods. As they barrel through the winding roads in a rental car, a series of events forces Ninya to find the strength to heal in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Second Time & 1st Audio Awesome!
Revisado: 03-09-23
I love this book so much, I got it on Audible and Ninya narrates the story herself which must have been very intense. Much respect for getting through those passages without crying! You also brought the humor & growth and it was a triumph. I’m going to start reading for fun again. I need the levity. I’m going to check out Hawt Flash, or something fun & light! So many choices with your books!

Where was this ten years ago?

Wow, gratitude for saying all the hard things & doing them with us. I wondered how you would evolve as we are all at a point of unknown circumstances and all are dealing as well as can be expected, yikes. You just own it & tell us the truth. I have no idea how to do this either, but let’s talk about it…. Let’s strive to be the best we can be in the worst circumstances, not fall down in despair, even if we have no idea what to do next…It’s hope where I haven’t felt it in a while. I just moved to Texas and I’m learning harsh Texas lessons. Brene is here with me. She hears me. I feel so seen when I listen to Brene that it’s m background on my worst days. All her books & podcasts. Thank you, please keep doing (whatever it is this magic moment of truth you have created a space for) the intangible thing you are doing! You are making new roads. The journey is filled with perilous moments, but please, solider on. You are appreciated. You are a change maker.
