Can't go wrong with Jae!

I love this book as well as the first in the series (Conflict of Interest). these two are my go to books when I am at work and want something other than podcast or music to listen to. I love the characters, the plot, and the fact that Abby Craden is the narrator. I also love that Jae didn't rush the storyline. The characters mention future life plans but Jae doesn't rush to make sure the reader or listener gets the fulfillment of those plans, which makes it perfect for adding to the series, or for the reader/listener to imagine where the characters might end up.

Narrators make or break for audibles

This was the first book I've bought by this author. I thought the story was good, however the narrator made it extremely hard to get into it. I'm not sure if they were just trying to hard for character or what.
There are just certain narrators that kill a story for me and this one did. This makes book number four for this narrator and each time I've been disappointed. So, why did I keep trying after the first? Because everyone deserves a fair shake and some just aren't very good at first impressions.
Maybe I will someday buy the book and read it. I would buy other books by this author it's not their fault that the narration wasn't good.

Loved, loved, loved it. This book made me feel so many different emotions. I kept pausing it to tell my wife what was going on in the book and that's not something I usually do.

The Narrator of this book left a little something more to be desired. Usually I can push through and kinda get lost in the story. The way this book was performed made it hard to do.
