For any task you might want to do, there's a right way, a wrong way, and a way so monumentally complex, excessive, and inadvisable that no one would ever try it. How To is a guide to the third kind of approach. It's full of highly impractical advice for everything from landing a plane to digging a hole.

Great follow up to the first book!
Revisado: 09-19-19
Randall does great, as always, though I feel this would have been better in print, as it has the XKCD comics in it. Perhaps a link included with the audible to see the comics online. But overall, it was very enjoyable, and I learned some very random facts because of it.

Historia
Authors Christopher Knight and Alan Butler realized that the ancient system of geometry they presented in their earlier breakthrough study works as perfectly for the Moon as it does the Earth. On further investigation, they found a consistent sequence of beautiful integer numbers when looking at every major aspect of the Moon - no such pattern emerges for any other planet or moon in the solar system. In addition, Knight and Butler discovered that the Moon possesses few or no heavy metals and has no core - something that should not be possible.

Great book
Revisado: 09-09-19
This was a very good and interesting book. The only real issue I have with it, is that it repeats the same info quite a bit. It goes into the mathematics of everything, and while the accuracy they claim likely isn't as extreme as they claim, it is still within a margin of error and should stand out. Their ultimate theory seems a bit unlikely, but they even admit that, and say that they are open to ideas that better explain it. I agree that science is currently far too political, and valid theories and math get pushed aside to better suit the current ideas.
Overall, if you are a fan of theories that seem a bit out there, a fan of astronomy, or just wonder how the moon is how it is. This is a great book. It also shows how little we truly know about it.

Historia
Most children go through a dinosaur phase. Learning all the tongue-twisting names, picking favourites based on ferocity, armour, or sheer size. For many kids this love of ‘terrible lizards’ fizzles out at some point between starting and leaving primary school. All those fancy names slowly forgotten, no longer any need for a favourite. For all those child dino fanatics who didn’t grow up to become paleontologists, dinosaurs seem like something out of mythology. They are dragons, pictures in books, abstract, other, extinct.

Book 1 is top notch, book 2 is good
Revisado: 07-29-19
I absolutely loved book one. As for book 2, it was a bit underwhelming, but still very good. I feel the time jump is a bit too much, and would have rather it picked up right where book 1 left off. That being said, this was still well worth picking up, and now I have a new series to read. It gets a great mix of military realism, while still maintaining it's SciFi roots. Parts of it straight up remind of my service, and parts of it remind me of firefly. either way, it is a great series and I am looking forward to book 3. Also, RC Bray is one of my top 3 favorite narrators, and he does amazing here.

In this smart and funny book, celebrated cartoonist Zach Weinersmith and noted researcher Dr. Kelly Weinersmith give us a snapshot of what's coming next - from robot swarms to nuclear fusion powered-toasters. By weaving their own research and interviews with the scientists who are making these advances happen, the Weinersmiths investigate why these technologies are needed, how they would work, and what is standing in their way.

Revisado: 07-29-19
I suggest this to anyone that is interested in technology and where it is headed. The authors are also great at narrating, and have the rare talent of doing their book justice. I highly suggest this to people that want to learn some of the groundbreaking technologies coming to light, and where they could be relatively soon.

Bianca has never been good at following the plan. She's more of an act-now, deal-with-the-consequences-later kind of person. Waking up in the hospital, almost paralyzed by her injuries, Bianca is faced with questions she's not equipped to answer. She chooses instead to try a new virtual-reality version of Minecraft that responds to her every wish, giving her control over a world at the very moment she thought she'd lost it.

Less about minecraft, and more about therapy
Revisado: 07-29-19
I felt that this was a big step down from the previous book. this is less about Minecraft and more about a girl dealing with a traumatic event. Everything from how the game works, to the mobs in the game, is all twisted to fit the narrative. I couldn't even finish this one without speeding it up. I was very disappointed. if you are looking for a Teenage tragedy/drama with a slight tie to video games, then this is for you, otherwise....just skip it.

Found a new series to put on my short list.
Revisado: 07-29-19
This is an amazing series, Nick always does amazingly well, and this is no exception. I throughly recommend this to any fans of Nick, Fantasy, or LitRPG. This is also a very interesting take on LitRPG, it's not the standard, person either gets stuck in, or just regularly plays VR. I highly suggest it. This is definitely a book that is on my top 5 as far as favorite series goes.
